    Proletarian writers | 4 July 2026 For decades, successive governments have implemented measures aimed at undermining public health provision and turning the nation’s health budget into a funding stream for private corporations. As a result, workers pay more every year while receiving less, services are dangerously understaffed, medical staff are chronically overworked, patients deteriorate and die on waiting lists, and those who can afford to do so are forced to turn to the private sector to obtain treatment. Note to trade unionists: This text has been compiled to help you frame a motion on this topic to your union branch or annual congress. While faces might change and representatives will come and go, the line of the Labour Party is the line of the finance capitalists in the City of London. It is no surprise then that the warmongering line of Starmer has continued with Burnham, a man whose rise to power seems manufactured. Burnham was not even an MP a month before his role of prime minister, but the doors were opened to allow him to quickly become an MP, become a candidate for the leadership of the Labour Party and eventually prime minister of the United Kingdom.     How the left failed Syria

The meeting was held to mark the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Republic in April 1946. Very few workers in the west are aware of the fact that Syria had maintained a sovereign and anti-imperialist government for nearly eight decades in the teeth of imperialist opposition and constant attempts to bring it down. Despite having to contend with zionist armies on its doorstep, a zionist occupation on its territory, and zionist spies and saboteurs infiltrating its society, the Syrian Arab Republic refused to normalise with zionist Israel and remained a steadfast friend to the cause of Palestine liberation and a reliable base for Palestinian resistance movements. --------------------------------- Subscribe! Indeed, our ‘antiwar’ luminaries regularly and repeatedly stoke warmongering propaganda narratives against Russia, China, Iran and the DPRK, the cornerstones of world anti-imperialist resistance and the primary targets in the sights of the US/British/Nato war machine.
