President Connolly visited Ulster University Campus in Belfast where she met with participants in the 2026 Fleadh Cheoil, as well as students in the Faculty of Law. The President delivered a keynote address to 200 invited guests from the faculty, student body and community stakeholders.

Foráiltear i mBunreacht na hÉireann go ndéantar Uachtarán na hÉireann a insealbhú an lá tar éis dhul in éag téarma oifige an Uachtaráin roimhe sin. On 11 November 2025, President Catherine Connolly was inaugurated as President of Ireland. President Catherine Connolly is the 10th President of Ireland. She was elected with 914,143 votes. The Constitution of Ireland stipulates that the President of Ireland is inaugurated on the day following the expiry of the term of office of the preceding President.
