Missed Apex Formula 1 Podcast

Has turned into old men complaining about the racers their age. They’re obsessed with Perez for some reason. Can’t help but think they’re hiding their racism behind jokes. They seem to have issues with people who sacrificed their lives to pursue their passion. Maybe they’re angry they didn’t make it? Their alleged discord isn’t any better.

I’ve been listening to the show for ages, but it’s getting harder to stay. Whether it’s the rants, the randomness or Trumpets droning on with a chapter answer to a binary question, it’s losing its attraction. Consider moving back to the focused commentary. Otherwise, I guess I will just drift away from your new target audience

This used to be my go to F1 podcast. Lately I just have to turn it off 5 minutes in. The episodes where they are not just reviewing a specific race are so bad. Spanners, keep your carting experience To yourself, no one wants to hear it.

This is a revised review. POD used to be quite good. Has suffered. Spanners is useless on his own, and increasingly is irritating in group with his infantile commentary. Clown in the background. Trumpets is Mr Condescension, also irritating as his true knowledge base is much more limited than he admits. Other members of the “group” are tolerable to enjoyable, with the exception of the tic tok idiots. I used to really enjoy this pod, but would now recommend to F1 newbies only. With the exception of Joe Saward, who is the crusty master, and my only good reason to continue here. And is more gone!
