Master Mingtong Gu: Qigong Teachings in Times of Artificial Intelligence and Crisis - Part 1

Are you experiencing stress or even a personal crisis? With so much loss and trauma happening all over the world, how can we possibly get to a place of peace? Globally recognized teacher and healer Master Mingtong Gu is our guest today. He brings ancient wisdom to times of crisis through Qigong and other energy practices. He has been awarded Qigong Master of the Year. Master Mingtong Gu is founder of The Chi Center and Southwest Sanctuary for Embodied Wisdom. He bridges ancient cultures with modern times and has established Wisdom Healing Qigong as a global movement. His most recent book is "Coming Home to Embodied Awakening." Mingtong discusses the symptoms of suffering. According to Buddhist belief, the cause of all suffering is ignorance and attachment. There is a disconnection between our minds and our bodies. Mingtong shares a personal story about his teenagers who are "hijacked" by video games. They are disconnected from themselves. They are suffering, so they resort to digital realities. This is not just his situation, but it affects masses of people around the world. He talks about how we run away from discomfort. We run away from our realities. We want to bypass this reality. We have become walking ghosts. We spend so much time in our minds. Our mental world is hijacked by the digital world. So many people spend a tremendous amount of time on social media. We are not in touch with our bodies. Our bodies are what make us human. It is what connects us with nature. We are missing the connection to our body. This is where addiction comes from. Some do not know how to exist without numbing themselves with alcohol, drugs, social media, shopping, and so much more. Most people do not want to acknowledge the truth of suffering. He talks about how he discovered Qigong, not in China, but in Columbus, Ohio. He learned the soft, gentle movement practice and explains how it connects us to ourselves. We can feel complete in the moment. He also talks a medicine-less hospital in China which practices Qigong and energy work. Thousands of people have recovered from various conditions and ailments. He explains how Qigong can reconnect us. Master Mingtong Gu invites us to share in a very powerful meditation and Qigong experience during this segment of the interview. This is Part 1. Best of The Aware Show with Hakim Isler: Exploring Psychic & Extraordinary Abilities – Part 1

Are you familiar with the idea of remote viewing and how the military uses it? Would you like to hone your psychic skills? Our guest today, Hakim Isler, is a combat veteran and military expert in PsiOps. He is the creator of the Psi Games Event and will discuss its role in unlocking human potential. Hakim is a survivalist and explains how the human hierarchy of needs relates to the chakras. We are all part of the whole. In this interview, Hakim discusses consciousness and how we relate to the world. This leads to other states of awareness. He talks about spiritual living and the importance of breathwork. Hakim is involved in an extensive yoga program and talks about balance and various breathing techniques. He shares about three different types of breathing, all of which affects our energy, whether it's to feel more energized, to slow down and relax, or to simply be in balance. Hakim was on the TV show "Naked and Afraid" where he was sent to the Himalayan mountains and needed to survive for 21 days with no food, no water, no shelter. He shares what he learned during that time. Hakim realized that what really matters is who you are and who you love. He tries to remind people that we are unlimited beings. We must try to hold on to what matters – and love is the most important aspect. The biggest tools we have are our breath and our love. We are all connected. Hakim further discusses the practice of remote viewing which was originally designed by the military to access information from a different place and time. Essentially the veterans in this secret program were considered "psychic spies." Hakim explains how remote viewing helps us realize we are more than our physical bodies. We are expanded beings as a collective. The true awareness of who we are is about connection as a whole. He also talks about the extensive work he is doing to teach everyone, children as well, how to access our innate psychic abilities. Hakim believes it's the next level of our evolution. His addiction finally caused chaos in his life, including losing his career. He talks about the way he healed. He talks about his healing experience with Kundalini Yoga. He explains how hard it was physically and mentally. It was so painful, but many days he went twice a day. During a film taping, he met a woman who introduced him to ayahuasca, and they went to a ceremony. He describes it as the most beautiful experience he had ever had. He went beyond the illusions. He learned how the founder of AA had an enlightening experience with a psychoactive chemical which changed his life. After Mark's ayahuasca ritual, he felt a whole new sense of oneness. This builds our personality. We wear masks. Psychedelics bring us to a new level of awareness.  This is how we can break our patterns. We can find our purpose and feel connected. Mark discusses going from his ayahuasca journeys into becoming the founder of the sacred space known as Frequency House, which uses psychedelic mushrooms as a method of healing. Mark Kohl: Methods of Healing Through Psychedelics – Part 1

Would you like to explore an ancient method of healing? After many years of severe alcohol addiction and depression, our guest today, Mark Kohl, talks about ways to heal. Mark has been a successful cinematographer for more than 30 years. He talks about the resilience needed to thrive in that field. He explains how it involves constant decision-making and problem-solving. He shares how moviemaking serves a purpose. It creates an illusion. Television puts the brain in a trance. In this theta state, the brain can be easily programmed. It's almost like a state of hypnosis. We use entertainment as an escape, which is very important to our imagination. Children become what's in their imagination. They identify with various characters. Mark had an extremely successful career. He won many awards. He was a high achiever who owned houses, boats, cars, and apartments. He traveled around the world. Yet, he wasn't happy. He wasn't fulfilled. At the wrap parties, everyone would drink heavily. When he wasn't working, he continued to drink. He realized after taping many commercials, that he was essentially selling products he did not believe in. He was asked to portray a sense of lack, so that the consumer would feel they needed to buy it. After years of drinking, Mark realized he had a problem. Alcohol worked very well to calm his active mind. He could write. He was fearless. He is also a musician who could not get on stage without having a drink first. He realized he was dependent on it.  He talked about going to AA meetings, the terrible detox symptoms he experienced, and his multiple times at rehab centers. His entire life had fallen apart. He became very sick and suicidal. He shares about how ancient cultures knew the dangers of alcohol. Some considered it to be an evil spirit. They used medicinal mushrooms to gain knowledge. Many cultures used psychedelics to reach deeper levels of understanding. Mark is the founder of Frequency House, a sacred healing center.  This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: frequency-house.com.
