nice synopsis of past day’s news

sometimes includes interesting details not often heard from other outlets

Part of the morning drive, sometimes

James Hohmann must be encouraged to believe that he is a celebrity. I sometimes have to turn off this podcast because I am so annoyed by his editorializing tone, smug chuckles, and incessant need to let us know his opinion of the news. Maybe I’m missing something, and that is what the show is supposed to be about: a celebrity reading the news while letting us know his personal opinions. In any case, I have to turn it off about half the time.

Pronunciation help needed

Volume is low - so turn up the sound & it’s fine. However, James needs to be tutored on pronunciation of proper names of both people & places- one example is the name of Turkey’s dictator which he regularly garbles.
