    The Euro Show is back with Jimbo joined by the usual team of Seb Stafford-Bloor, Pol Ballus, James Horncastle and Tom Williams to discuss what’s going on in the continent.   A stoppage time winner for Mallorca against Real Madrid means Barcelona are seven points clear at the top of La Liga, after they came from behind to win 2-1 at Atletico.   In Italy, there’s a statement win at the top for Inter as they beat Roma 5-2 and further reaction to the Azzurri failing to qualify for a third World Cup in a row.     Jimbo, Daniel Storey and Tom Williams reflect on a captivating FA Cup quarter-final weekend. It’s back-to-back defeats for Arsenal, overcome by a sensational Southampton from the Championship on Saturday. With their trophy hopes halved in the last two matches, is this the start of a dramatic collapse for the Gunners? Can the same question be asked of Liverpool, who are thrashed 4-0 by Man City, with Erling Haaland taking home the match ball? The pressure piling on Arne Slot ahead of the Reds’ trip to PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday. West Ham stage an incredible comeback against Leeds but it’s Daniel Farke’s side who progress on penalties to a first FA Cup semi since 1987.     Jimbo is joined by Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and George Caulkin to open up the Totally Extra almanac to exactly 30 years ago, on the Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle page. The Magpies were the great entertainers with the exuberant Kevin Keegan at the helm and much of the country pulling for them to take the title. Their title challengers Man Utd had famously been told by Alan Hansen they couldn't win anything with kids. With Fergie's fledglings finding form, a wobbling Newcastle went to Anfield and vowed to play the only way they knew how, to attack; the likes of Beardsley, Ginola, Asprilla and Ferdinand up against Fowler, Collymore, Barnes and McManaman. What ensued is still for many the greatest ever Premier League game. What made it so special? And how different might have football been if Newcastle had won it in 1996?     Italy’s heartbreak, Potter’s redemption - and City v Liverpool in the FA Cup

    Jimbo is back in the chair and joined by Duncan Alexander, Adrian Clarke, Natalie Gedra, with special guest Frida Fagerlund as the final six teams to play at this year’s World Cup are confirmed. It’s disaster yet again for Italy after penalty heartbreak in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Azzurri become the first ever former winners to miss three World Cups in a row. Where do they go from here? There’s shootout joy for Czech Republic though who beat Denmark, Sweden see off Poland and Turkey are heading to the World Cup for the first time in 24 years after winning in Kosovo. DR Congo and Iraq are also through to the group stages, and there’s another disappointing performance from England at Wembley.     Jimbo is joined by Duncan Alexander, Rob Tanner and Jordan Halford to open up the Totally Extra Almanac in 2016 and celebrate Leicester's historic Premier League title, 10 years on.  From the sacking of Pearson and battling relegation to Richard III, Ranieri, pizzas and Bocelli - the Leicester title story had it all. Underpinning Leicester's success was excellent investment with Vardy, Mahrez and Kante costing less than 8 million pounds and the squad barely getting injuries, meaning Ranieri could play the same eleven in most games. Even still, the odds were stacked against them with the bookies making them 5000-1 before the season started. So just how did they do it? And could anyone ever do it again?     Jimbo has a stellar cast of James Horncastle, Tom Williams, Colin Millar and Matt Davies-Adams to react to the World Cup play-off semi-finals. It’s a heartbreaking night for the home nations with Wales and the Republic of Ireland eliminated on penalties. And a brave young Northern Ireland side are beaten 2-0 in Bergamo by Italy. Are the Azzurri finally set to qualify for another World Cup? Jack Lang’s in Mexico to tell us about the inter-confederation play-offs, where he watched Jamaica edge past New Caledonia to set up a final against DR Congo. And the big domestic news is that Mo Salah will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Should we all be a bit more moved?     Jimbo reconvenes with Seb Stafford-Bloor, Pol Ballus, James Horncastle and Tom Williams to once again discuss all things European Football. Vinicius Jr is the matchwinner as ten-man Real Madrid beat Atletico 3-2 at the Bernabeu, but Barcelona are still the team to beat after a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano keeps them four points clear. In Italy, Inter’s stuttering form continues with a 1-1 draw at Fiorentina. They still have a six point lead at the top despite Milan’s 3-2 win over Torino. Attention now turns to whether the Azzurri can get past Northern Ireland in their World Cup play-off semi-final on Thursday.
