Loinlander - The Most Unofficial Outlander Podcast

Stumbled across this podcast as a break from the official podcast which is so dull, too focused on the weather that day and what they’re drinking or the ones that are 50% squealing about Sam. Entertaining enough. FYI, it’s Cull AH’ den. I agree with some that they don’t seem to know the show as well as casual viewers, but it’s so much more entertaining than the other OL pods. Btw, I am 100% with Meg and Joe in their outrage that the first half of 7 ended Aug 11, 2023 and the second half will begin November 2024, 15 MONTHS later when we know the 8th season has already wrapped. Starz should be ashamed of themselves.

From your comments during your recaps, it sounds like you really hated the show. I only listen to three or four of your episodes because your negativity was a total turn off. I’m not saying there aren’t good parts and bad parts but you too really just honed in on everything you hated about the show especially the dude. And things you found” confusing”? Really? Are you a child? I need everything explained to you and it has to be tied up in a big red bow for you to understand what’s happening? I didn’t find the episodes confusing at all and not hard to follow even the Fanny Storyline, which made no sense, I admit, just move on! I thought the ending was beautiful and very well tied up to the storyline. Can’t wait for Diana’s book to come out and learn her real ending.

I like a little sarcasm, so I enjoyed this podcast. Thanks to the hosts for taking the time to recap the show each week.

They don’t always love the show Outlander, but hey, neither does most of the fandom. If you want to listen to an echo chamber of “Outlander is the greatest ever - no ifs’ and’s or but’s about it” go right ahead. Me? i prefer to listen to people give honest and heartfelt criticism and reflection. I hope they produce more content once this show is over!
