Brady takes on being the course director for Run Echuca Moama   Rose Davies on the opening night of the athletics programme in Glasgow became the 10000m Commonwealth Champion in 31:39.32, with Lauren Ryan placing fifth. Ky Robinson was also crowned 10000m Commonwealth Champion winning in 27:49.93. Rose Davies backed up for the double to then become the 5000m Commonwealth Champion in 14:44.53 with Jess Hull taking the silver medal, Linden Hall seventh in her fourth Commonwealth Games. Ky Robinson followed on to win the silver in the 5000m in 13:24.70 behind Matthew Kipsang of Kenya with Jackson Sharp in ninth and Seth O’Donnell sixteenth Cara Feain-Ryan placed fourth in the 3000m Steeplechase, with Faith Cherotich of Kenya winning in 9:01.76. Sarah Billings takes home the Bronze medal in the 800m running 2:00.61 behind winner Georgia Hunter-Bell in 1:59.51, with Lillian Odira just pipping Billings in 2:00.58. Luke Boyes takes the silver in the Men’s 800m behind Navasky Anderson of Jamaica, Peyton Craig sixth and Peter Bol seventh Abbey Caldwell won the mile in 4:39.31, leading an Australian podium sweep with Jess Hull and Claudia Hollingsworth. Cam Myers salvaged a silver medal in 3:55.26 with Josh Kerr carrying the momentum to win in front of a home crowd, with defending champion Oli Hoare in fifth and Adam Spencer in eighth. Results   Brett Robinson won the Sunshine Coast Marathon in 2:15:45 in rainy, steamy conditions ahead of Taketoshi Oe of Japan and Jamie Lacey. Beth Mackenzie of the US won in 2:37:26 ahead of Nikki Curry and Sarah Short. Izzy Batt-Doyle took another half marathon win in 1:08:49, ahead of Georgia Grgec and Rebecca Lowe, while Ryan Gregson returned to the event to win in 1:04:01 ahead of Jordan Skelly and Kye Lowth. Callum Davies won the 10km in 29:30, while Gabrielle Schmidt won in 33:26. Results    Jude Thomas posted 3:34.72 in the 1500m at the IFAM Oordgem at Belgium, while in the 5000m Georgia Griffith won the B race in 14:44.64 while Maudie Skyring was fourth in 14:49.47. World Athletics Results   Whispers headliners City 2 Surf, while Brady on the Loose tries to enforce the headphone policy in races, then goes through some more listener submissions of Core vs Kook. Brady maintains a good week although it ends on a low note.   This week's running news is presented by Precision Fuel & Hydration, they make it simple with a free online planner, visit precisionhydration.com and get your numbers.   Dominic Lobalu took line honours in the Monaco Diamond League 5000m in 12:52.54, winning by .06 over Graham Blanks, while Ky Robinson ran 13:26.70. Emmanuel Wanyonyi set the World Record in the 1000m in 2:11:83, while Daniel Williams ran 2:16.41. Jess Hull paced the 3000m to lead Agnes Ngetich to a 8:08.95 victory. Elly Fleming won the 1000m in 2:53.23 Diamond League Results   Logan Janetzki won the Victorian Cross Country Championship in Bundoora, winning the 10k in 31:26 ahead of Sandringham teammate Ben Buckingham and Liam Cashin of Western Athletics.  Sandringham went on to win the Premier Division Title ahead of Bendigo and Melbourne Uni. Georgia Hansen for Box Hill won the State Title in 35:40 ahead of Natalie Rule for Sandringham and Katherine Dowie for Ballarat. Sandringham also secured victory in the Women’s Premier Division over Box Hill and Melbourne University. AthsVic Results Hub   Josh Phillips won the NSW Short Course XC Championships, taking out the 7.5km at Dapto in 22:42. Kate Spencer successfully defended for a third consecutive title 26:12. Athletics NSW Report   Tara Palm third in Porto Alegre Marathon in Brazil 2:34:40 after leading for much of it, with Kaoutar Kahhaz of Morocco winning in 2:33:01. The men’s race was won by Zineddine Ouria of Morocco in 2:08:52 while Eliud Kipchoge 2:18:42 for 12th in his world tour. Results   Jackson Sharp lead a quartet of Aussies in the Mile at the Morton Games in Dublin, Ireland, with Jack Anstey in 3:55.01, Thomas Diamond in 3:55.40 and Alex Stitt in 3:56.00. Jude Thomas ran 13:17.98 in the 5000m, while Toby Gillen ran 13:38.69.
