Bringing Together the Best Minds for Longevity – a Conversation with Richard Rossi

Bringing Together the Best Minds for Longevity – a Conversation with Richard Rossi

On this episode of Living Beyond 120, Mark and Dr. Gladden welcome Richard Rossi, the founder of daVinci50, a Mastermind group of celebrated doctors, Harvard scientists, and world-renowned biohackers who are achieving the big breakthroughs and getting the big results in ultra-healthy life extension right now.

They discuss the mindset needed to achieve longevity past what the rest of the world believes is an acceptable age, and they consider how advances in technology and medicine are making the goal of 120 years and beyond more and more possible.
    About the guest:
Richard Rossi’s special ability is connecting genius with high-achievers, and that’s the business he’s been in for over 30 years.

He believes high-achievers have the greatest chance of changing the world for the better and deserve every edge – every advantage – to play the biggest game possible in life and achieve true greatness for the benefit of humankind.

To date, over 800,000 high achievers from around the world have graduated from live programs created by his companies, with the help of over 200 staff people.

He also believes the very best way to honor, educate, and inspire high-achievers is through strong mentors and powerful alliances with peers.

And in his world, this is the Mastermind.

The Mastermind concept was coined in 1937 by author Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich. In his books, Hill discussed the idea of the Mastermind, which referred to two or more people coming together in harmony to solve problems.

Cooperation through the use of Mastermind groups was one of the laws of success that Hill learned through studying successful Americans including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Theodore Roosevelt, John D. Rockefeller, and Charles M. Schwab.

The Mastermind can be magical as an environment that fosters maximum direction, confidence, and capabilities. It allows high-achievers to operate at the highest level with their peers and compress time by being part of an Olympic level team.

Like a great university, the mentors and other teachers are critical, but equally critical to success are the other lively minds in the room: your peers who are all fascinated and motivated by the same things you are.

The most recent group Rossi is bringing together is daVinci50, the highest-level live coaching program in the world on Superaging™: biohacking our bodies for boundless energy and a dramatically extended life without disease, physical limitation or mental decline. On this episode of Living Beyond 120™, cardiologist Kiran Musunuru joins Mark and Dr. Gladden to discuss his study of genetics and cardiovascular disease. They talk about “genetic superheroes” who have certain genes partially or fully turned off in their system, which appears to benefit their cardiovascular health. By isolating these genes and better understanding their function, there is potential for creating medical treatments for people who might be otherwise prone to certain diseases.
Dr. Musunuru discusses some exciting developments in the research he’s been working on with gene editing. He also shares the top three things he believes people should do to live longer, better lives.
    About the Guest:
KIRAN MUSUNURU, MD, PhD, MPH, ML, author of The CRISPR Generation: The Story of the World's First Gene-Edited Babies, is one of the world’s leading experts in genetics and gene editing, is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Genetics in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Musunuru studied and trained at Harvard University, Cornell University Medical College, The Rockefeller University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, and University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the genetics of heart disease and seeks to identify genetic factors that protect against disease and use them to develop therapies to protect the entire population. In his recent work he has been using gene editing to create a one-shot “vaccination” against heart attacks, the leading cause of death worldwide.

Staying young is thinking.

All I can say is my experience. Had stroke at 32. Felt old for years and was almost ready to be old for years, until I died.
Found this podcast, changed my life. Changed my mindset.
Still have issues but that only makes me want to work all the harder because standing still is going backward.
These guys aren’t looking for a payday, they truly want to help you help yourself. H2o max is an amazing product that will help you accomplish your goals. There is no fairy god mother that’ll reach your goals for you.
H2o max WILL help you reach your goals.

Mornings haven’t been good for me for almost 7 years. I can barely move. Everything hurts. My balance is that of a toddler that just started walking.
I could move around and make myself do what I needed before but my kids will attest I sounded like a sailor. I did get stuff done, eventually.
Now, after only one month, mornings are calm. I get most of my daily chores done before they go to school and most importantly I can move without pain or having to focus on the pain. Also mornings are a lot quieter, too.

Awesome blend of science and common sense.

Mark and his crew introduce cutting edge science in a way that’s totally understandable and not dumbed down and make it sound easy. As a medical educator, I know how hard that really is.

If you want to have a long healthy life, do yourself a favor, invest a few minutes and subscribe. The return on time invested will be huge.
