Heart Disease and You - Episode 88
On this episode of Living Beyond 120, Dr. Jeff Gladden and Dr. Mark Young discuss the heart disease.
They kick of the show revealing that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States for males and females – regardless of race or ethnicity. They continue with the fact that one person dies from heart disease related illness every 36 seconds – that’s 650,000 American deaths every year. Of the top five causes of death in the United States, heart disease makes up 25% of the fatalities every year.
Next, Dr. Gladden and Dr. Young go on to cover the comorbidities of heart disease, such as obesity, high cholesterol, arterial sclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and high sugar intake.
Finally, they go on to discuss how simple steps can be taken to decrease the chances of heart disease: exercise, losing weight, decreasing sugar intake and, depending on genetics, decreasing salt intake.

They also cover the positive effects of hydrogen use on your body.

They go on to explore the differences between each vaccine, such as storage temperatures, shelf life and dosing frequencies. Then the conversation moves to the effectiveness of the different vaccines and how they affect different age groups.
Dr. Young and Dr. Gladden drive the importance of taking/continuing the use of vitamins and supplements that support the immune system, such as Vitamin E, Iodine and Zinc.
Finally, they discuss the risk of death from the virus to those with heart conditions, diabetes and respiratory issues in comparison with those without those comorbidities. They also comment on the possibilities of corporations and/or governments creating vaccine mandates.
The two episodes on the WuHuFlu are just flat out wonderful, keep up the good work!!

Bias vs Good Science
I think Trump got his latest bad Coronavirus advice here. The latest episode has a snarky guest who mocks mask wearing and even promotes a low dosage of hydroxycloroquine every week (proven wrong and dangerous). The hosts say nothing to challenge and seem to go along. It’s really become very politically biased. One of the Dr’s seems to flaunt working against the Michigan Governors request for citizens to wear masks. I used to follow but now after this episode I have determined they are just promoters of Bad Science.
