Rocket Fuel Pee: Man of Ruin [patreon unlocked]

No new episode this week, so please enjoy an old patreon episode (originally posted 6/23/21). We'll be back with a new episode in two weeks.

This week we're reading Rocket Fuel Pee: Man of Ruin by Oliver Franks. Nothing subtle about it, this book is about a man who pees nuclear waste. But this book isn't JUST about a man with a destructive stream. It's about facing adversity and overcoming it. In the end, are we so different from the man with rocket fuel pee?

    Porn Land

    Porn Land

This week we're reading Porn Land by Kevin Shamel. From the author of Bigfoot Cop comes the tale of two men who find themselves in a depraved porn world, complete with some of the most disgusting scenes we've ever read. Just in time for summer!

To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five

To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five

This week we're reading To the Rude Guy in Apartment Five by J.S. Cooper. There are a million ways to deal with an annoying neighbor - write a note, complain to the landlord, direct confrontation - but have you ever tried falling in love with them instead??

    Not Another Fan Fiction

    Not Another Fan Fiction

This week we’re back in the mud, getting down and dirty with some good old fashioned Fan Fiction. Plus - an extended conversation about Will Smith and Chris Rock, the thing everyone is still buzzing about, right? Right??? Sorry, this episode was recorded 200 years ago.

    The Electric Boner

    The Electric Boner

This week we're reading a book called The Electric Boner by Nathaniel Lewis. It's a familiar story - man stumbles into a toxic green puddle, yadda yadda yadda, bing bang bong, now he's got an electric boner. Zip zap zip zap. Bzzzzt. Boi-oi-oi-oi-oing. If you have a slide whistle, now's the time to let it rip. We have fun here at Let's Stop There and we hope you do too. Electric boner!

    Bigfoot Cop

    Bigfoot Cop

This week we're reading Bigfoot Cop by Kevin Shamel. This book is kinda like Law & Order but replace the wry and charming Lennie Briscoe with a big roided out hairy freak who destroys entire city blocks and kills bystanders without a second thought. You know, kinda like real life cops.

Love it! Highly recommend

I find myself laughing and chuckling at every episode! These guys are hilarious. Taking a break from true crime to come here and thank god there’s lots of content.

I don’t get it.

I don’t understand why this podcast was so highly recommended. I was looking for something similar to My Dad Wrote a Porno and everything I ran across said this was even funnier. I my have chuckled once in 3 episodes while listening to this. They are not funny at all. I just don’t get it. I’ll stick with my other podcast.

My favorite podcast

I listen to dozens of podcasts but Let’s Stop There is the only one where I get genuinely excited when a new episode comes out because it’s the funniest thing I listen to. The book they read is really not important; it’s just a framework for the guys to play off. It’s a perfectly balanced 3-legged stool of Austin with the quick-fire wit, Shane with the more well-developed and thoughtful commentary, and Ganesh as the foil/herding the cats. This podcast deserves to be in your feed.
