Kim Cypher

Donna,

I absolutely loved this episode with Kim Cypher. She is an amazing player as I listen to her most recent album.

Her answers to your questions were very good. I love that she didn’t get a music WD degree and went the teacher Ed route initially instead. She then taught music at school again without a music degree. This meant she taught herself the majority of what she knows today. I respect this much more than the traditional oath of music performance degree to doctorate path that so many players are on now in school. She learned the business the hard way and no doubt this has made her a better musician.

Love the podcast Donna keep up the great work.
