    Robert Ward and John Corney

    Robert Ward and John Corney

Hello this is Jonathan Jay - and welcome to episode 123 of the Business Buying Strategies podcast.

This week and next, we’re going to do something that I don’t believe we’ve done before on the podcast. Each month, I meet up online with my MasterMind students, and we spend a couple of hours catching up with the progress that we’ve each made since the last meeting. Over the next two episodes, we’re going to hear from four of those students.

So this week we hear from Robert Ward, from Canada. He originally intended to acquire British food shops in Canada, but having listened to the podcast episode with John Richardson recently, in episode 114, he decided to focus on coffee shops instead.

We also hear from John Corney, who has experience of buying and selling businesses already, and is currently on the acquisition trail for health practitioners.

Always Great Insight!

Always great insight about buying businesses from Jonathan and his colleagues. I learn so much from The Deal Maker’s Academy. Jonathan is very professional and seems to really enjoy his work. This podcast is definitely worth subscribing to if you are interested in mergers and acquisitions.

Great Podcast dealing not only with Strategy but Tactics too

I discovered this podcast to help me round out some of the action steps to Dan Pena’s QLA approach. Being in the US some of the names of legal instruments and references take a minute for me to translate but overall an excellent reference to the buying businesses. Keep up the excellent work, I’ll be buying a business this year.
