    364. Authentic Lead Generation: How to Get Clients Without Weird DMs

In this episode, I’m talking about authentic lead generation, and why so many people hate lead gen in the first place. If you’ve ever cringed at “hey girl” DMs, aggressive follow-ups, or being pitched before you even finish a conversation, you’re not wrong. Lead generation gets a bad reputation because it’s often taught without integrity or patience. In this episode, I break down what authentic lead generation actually looks like: Why you shouldn’t pitch until you’re invitedThe difference between lead generation and salesHow to build real relationships without being awkward or pushyWhy slow, intentional nurturing leads to better clients and referrals I also share how I think about leads as connections, not prospects... and how tracking those relationships helps me stay consistent without obsessing or forcing sales. If you want to generate leads in a way that feels aligned, human, and sustainable (especially as a mom with limited capacity), this episode is for you. ------------ Grab the 100 Leads System - A plug-and-play spreadsheet + 10-minute daily action plan that helps you track conversations, follow up consistently, and turn warm connections into paying clients, without creating daily content. https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/100-leads-system/ Grab an audit: https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/sales-breakthrough-audit/ 💬 If you enjoyed this episode DM me on Instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent and LET A YOUNG THUG KNOW what you think! 363. Why Selling Feels Hard (And the 2 Strategies That Make It Easy)

In this episode, I’m sharing two strategies that make sales feel way easier, especially for moms in business who don’t have unlimited time, energy, or capacity to be “selling every day” the way the internet tells you to. The first one might sound obvious, but it’s real: be good at what you do. Not just “have a cute brand,” but actually have a clear framework, a real process, and the skill to get results. Because when you’re not confident in your work, you can hear it in your voice, and buyers can feel it too. The second strategy is one of my favorites: relationships. When you build real connections and nurture people with integrity (even when they don’t buy), sales becomes easier because you don’t have to do all the heavy lifting. Referrals, introductions, and trust transfer will do a lot of selling for you. I also talk about why buyers are more discerning now, how to spot a skill gap, and how these “slow” strategies can keep you in the game, even in seasons where you’re not posting much. If selling has been feeling heavy, awkward, or like you’re forcing it, this one is going to bring you back to the basics that actually work. ------------ Grab an audit: https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/sales-breakthrough-audit/ 💬 If you enjoyed this episode DM me on Instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent and LET A YOUNG THUG KNOW what you think! 362. Stop Creating New Content: How to Reuse What You’ve Already Posted to Stay Visible and Get Leads

In this episode, I’m sharing the most bare minimum, easiest thing you can do when you want to stay visible in your business, but you do not have the capacity to keep coming up with new content. Mama, repurpose. And I don’t just mean “turn one podcast episode into an Instagram post.” I mean go back into your archives (old posts, old emails, old podcast episodes, old notes in your phone) and breathe new life into what you already said. Because if you’ve been in business for even a year, you already have years worth of content. Your message doesn’t need to change every week, your perspective just gets deeper. You get clearer. You get more proof. And that means the same idea can hit harder today than it did back then. I also talk about why repurposed content often performs better, how to repost content that flopped, how to remix a “banger,” and why you need to attach a call to action to every piece of content... because you never know what’s going to pop off. If you’re tired, overwhelmed, or stuck trying to figure out what to post… this is your permission slip to stop forcing new ideas and start stewarding what you already created. ------------ Grab an audit: https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/sales-breakthrough-audit/ 💬 If you enjoyed this episode DM me on Instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent and LET A YOUNG THUG KNOW what you think! 361. When Is Enough Enough? Goal-Setting for Moms Who Want a Business That Fits Real Life

In this episode, I’m sharing some thoughts that have been sitting with me for a while and honestly, they woke me up in the middle of the night. We’re talking about giving yourself permission to just be, especially at the beginning of a new year when everyone seems to be setting bigger goals and chasing more. I want to explore a question I think so many MamaCEOs wrestle with but don’t always say out loud: when is enough enough? When do we stop striving for the next milestone and start asking what we’re actually building our businesses for? I share why I stopped setting traditional goals years ago, how capacity and real life have forced me to adjust expectations (again), and why stewardship has become a much better framework for me than constant growth. We also talk through practical income benchmarks, what financial freedom can actually look like for moms, and why your end goal should be tied to the life you want to live — not someone else’s highlight reel. If you’ve ever felt behind, overwhelmed by goal-setting culture, or unsure if you even want the “next level” everyone is chasing, this episode is for you. Consider this a gentle, honest conversation about building a business that supports your life, not one that constantly asks you to sacrifice it. Let’s talk about contentment, clarity, and choosing goals that actually fit. ------------ Grab an audit: https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/sales-breakthrough-audit/ 💬 If you enjoyed this episode DM me on Instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent and LET A YOUNG THUG KNOW what you think! 359. Hearing God in Our Metrics: : Data as Stewardship, Not Identity

As a self-proclaimed data girly, I love tracking numbers: leads, conversions, revenue, all of it. But a few years ago I realized my metrics were starting to define my identity, and that’s when I stopped setting traditional goals and started listening for God in my numbers. In this episode I share how to use metrics as stewardship (Luke 14:28) without slipping into idolatry (Matthew 6:21), and how to measure true fruit in your business through the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). We’ll talk about the four bare minimum metrics I track: leads generated, conversions, client experience/results, and capacity alignment. Then I share how to submit each one to the Holy Spirit so your decisions are guided by obedience, not pressure. If you’ve ever felt ruled by dashboards or discouraged by “industry standards,” this is your gentle reset: numbers are tools, not your identity. ------------ Grab an audit: https://mkhco.thrivecart.com/sales-breakthrough-audit/ 💬 If you enjoyed this episode DM me on Instagram @momsdobusinessdifferent and LET A YOUNG THUG KNOW what you think! In this episode, I'm going to unpack Habakkuk 2:3 and the gift of slow growth. You’ll learn how to reframe slow growth as Spirit-led formation, why God often uses waiting to deepen your roots, and how to build with peace instead of pressure. 357. Pruning for Fruit: What to Cut So Your Business Can Flourish

In this episode, I’m sharing what my tomato plants taught me about business and faith. While pruning in my garden, I realized some of the “healthiest” looking leaves were actually draining the plant and keeping it from producing fruit. The same thing happens in our lives and businesses, sometimes we hold onto offers, strategies, or commitments that look productive but aren’t actually fruitful. I’ll walk you through how God uses pruning as preparation (not punishment), why doing less often leads to more growth, and practical ways to simplify your business so you can see real results. I’ll also share how I’ve applied this in my own journey with my Bare Minimum Business Model™ and why letting go has created more peace, profit, and purpose in my work as a mom and entrepreneur. → Want more raw, behind-the-scenes conversations like this one?
