SB Nation and Roku have released a new docuseries called Soccer Meets America, and it focuses on the unique growth of soccer in this country. On Episode 186, we sit down with the legendary Alan Rothenberg to discuss his role in soccer's rise! #185 - USWNT Women's World Cup road runs through Texas

The Concacaf W Championship will be played in Texas, and we discuss it on Episode 185! The USWNT now know their road to the 2027 Women’s World Cup runs through Texas, as Mansfield and Houston will host the 2026 Concacaf W Championship. We go through the bracket and discuss the USWNT’s road to qualifying directly for the Women’s World Cup. #183 - WNT finishes strong, Crocker leaves, and World Cup price gouging

We discuss a few different topics on Episode 183 of the USA Soccercast, from the USWNT winning to World Cup transit pricing! First, the USWNT closed out their series with Japan with a statement win. #180 - Not a great March window for the USMNT

The United States Men’s National Team did not have a great March window. We recap the losses to Belgium and Portugal on Episode 180. The USMNT took two losses to top 10 teams, but in that process they didn’t look great either. We review the 5-2 loss to Belgium and 2-0 loss to Portugal in Atlanta and what went wrong for the team. We also discuss the experiementation and why it may not have been the best course of action for head coach Mauricio Pochettino. We then look at what’s next for the USMNT as the players try to state their final cases for the World Cup roster through their club play. What’s in Pochettino’s mind? #179 - A deeper dive on the USMNT roster

The United States Men’s National Team have two big friendlies coming up, first against Belgium on Saturday followed by a match against Portugal on Tuesday. We take a deep dive into the roster on Episode 179. The USMNT roster has 27 guys who get one final chance to leave an impression upon head coach Mauricio Pochettino and the coaching staff and hopefully have their name included on the 26-player World Cup roster. However, there will be some incredible competition in this camp. We hear from Mauricio Pochettino on why he opted to include Gio Reyna despite not having a lot of recent club minutes, and what it might mean for the guys who aren’t on the roster. Well packaged in a small bite format to concisely get you information on US Soccer from a very I formed host. I’ve come to dread the 1.5-2ht podcast pop up in my feed. I have the time and attention span, but much of that time is often filler. Not here; straight to business. Host is very knowledgeable about the game and all around life perspective which comes in handy for interviews. Thanks for the show!
