I’ve been listening to this crew for about 5 years, starting with The Walking Dead pod after Karen exited, and Lucy came on full time. They cover several of the series I watch and their discussions are mostly thoughtful. I appreciate that for the most part they don’t just offer a recap (although Jason does tend to go down that road at times). When they used to have guests it was always worthwhile. The only minus for me is when the hosts inject their personal politics into the discussions. Not all of the hosts do this, and it’s not often enough to make me unsubscribe, but it does go off topic and doesn’t lend anything positive to the content. Check out Jason’s Podcastica network for more podcasts with a variety of content and hosts.

Please stop bringing politics into your podcast.

What a delightful pod with just right amount of lore, fandom and humor!

Listening to the Andor S1 recap. Not to be rude but the audio quality makes this episodes almost unlistenable to. Lots of plosives, muddled sound, random ad breaks that make no sense and lots of weird audio clips just randomly thrown in. Also, about the quote, “the axe forgets; the tree remembers,” this is a rather well know proverb about how those who inflict harm often forget their actions but those who have been harmed remember what was done to them. This is a proverb from the southern regions of the African continent (Shona tribe maybe?). I don’t expect that everyone would know this nor take the time to do some basic internet searching but … you spent enough time slagging the dialog that maybe you could have caught yourself and realized that the TITLE of the episode and a key line of dialog *might* have more background to it.
