How long after you left the company are they still allowed to phone you for help?

You leave a job, hand over your laptop, say your goodbyes, and move on. Then, weeks or even months later, your old boss calls with a question only you seem to know the answer to. At first, it might be a quick favour. But what happens when the calls keep coming? At what point does helping out become unpaid work? Some people are happy to assist their former colleagues, especially if they left on good terms. Others believe that once you've left the company, your time is your own and if they need your expertise, they should be paying for it. Hang out with Anele and The Club on 947 every weekday morning. Which is worse: A man that can fix stuff, but doesn't, or a man that can't fix anything but tries?

We've all been there.Something breaks around the house. The cupboard door is hanging on for dear life, the tap is leaking, or the light bulb has been dead since Easter. But which is actually worse? A man who can fix things... but never gets around to doing it? Or a man who couldn't fix it even if he wanted to? At least the guy who can't fix anything is honest about it. The other guy keeps saying, "I'll do it this weekend" for six months straight. If one child goes to private school, should all the kids get the same opportunity, regardless of who their biological parents are?

A woman on TikTok has sparked a heated debate after revealing that she wants her husband to pay for her child from a previous relationship to attend private school. The husband says he's already paying for his own biological child’s private education and believes the child's biological father should be responsible for covering those costs instead. The situation has divided social media. Some people argue that once you marry someone with children, you take on a parental role and should treat all the children in the household equally. Others feel it's unfair to expect a step-parent to take on a financial responsibility that should belong to the biological parent, especially when it comes to expensive choices like private schooling. So where do you stand? If one child in the house goes to private school, should all the kids get the same opportunity, regardless of who their biological parents are? Or is the husband right to say the biological father should be footing that bill? Hang out with Anele and The Club on 947 every weekday morning. Is AI helping kids learn or making them lazy?

AI is becoming the new homework buddy for a lot of kids. Need help with a maths problem? Ask AI. Need an essay outline? Ask AI. Need to understand a complicated science topic? AI can explain it in seconds. But is that a good thing? Some people believe AI is helping children learn faster by giving them instant answers, personalized explanations, and access to information that was once difficult to find. Others worry that kids are becoming too dependent on it, skipping the hard work of thinking, researching, and problem-solving for themselves. If a child uses AI to understand a topic better, that's one thing. But if they're using it to do all the work for them, are they actually learning anything? As AI becomes a bigger part of everyday life, parents, teachers, and students are all trying to figure out where the line is between using a helpful tool and taking a shortcut. Am I wrong for inviting my sister to a kids free vacation even if she has kids?

TeeBag @tii_bag posted this on X:  "My friends and I spent six months planning and paying for a kid-free trip to Zanzibar. My sister initially declined because she couldn't afford it, but a week before the trip she said she could come, if she brought her two kids because she couldn't find a babysitter. I said no, as the trip and activities were planned specifically for adults. Now she's accusing me of hating her children and choosing friends over family, and my mom is pressuring me to let her bring them. I still feel she's welcome to join us, just not with her kids." Everything is getting smaller, what have you noticed is all of a sudden is getting smaller?

It feels like we're paying the same price, but getting less and less every time we shop. A can of Pringles doesn't seem as full as it used to be. Chocolate slabs have lost a few blocks. A packet of chips somehow has more air than chips. And if you've been eating at the same restaurant for years, you've probably noticed some food portions aren't quite as generous as they once were. Looking at you, Spur chips and onion rings... Whether it's snacks, takeaways, toiletries, or household products, many people have noticed their favourite items quietly shrinking over the years. How did you get stitches for the first time?

Most of us have at least one scar that comes with a story. Maybe you were flying down the driveway on your bicycle, tried a daring jump on the playground, ran through a glass door, or had a cooking disaster that went horribly wrong. Getting stitches for the first time is almost a rite of passage and the story is usually far more entertaining years later than it was in the emergency room. Deputy Minister of Sport Arts & Culture Peace Mabe give us an update on Bafana Bafana and their traveling arrangements

Bafana Bafana have finally departed for Mexico. Despite the visa delays causing disruption to Bafana Bafana’s travel plans, the focus remains on the opportunity that lies ahead at the FIFA World Cup. The deputy Sport, Arts and Culture minister has launched a scathing attack on the South African Football Association following a humiliating administrative error that delayed the national team’s departure for the World Cup. Hugo Broos' charges were left grounded on Sunday when it emerged that several players and technical staff had not been granted visas for their trip to Mexico.  Peace Mabe has made it clear that patience has run out with the top brass at SAFA. The latest blunder, which saw Bafana Bafana stranded instead of flying out to North America, has been described as a national embarrassment that undermines the team's achievements on the pitch.  “It is shocking and embarrassing,” Hang out with Anele and The Club on 947 every weekday morning.
