How I Stay Consistent With Content Creation

I recently got a message from a listener that said she admires how consistent I am with the content I put out into the world, and the quality I maintain. This coach wants to start their own podcast but has struggled with consistency and marketing in the past, and would like me to share my advise/what works for me so I thought I’d record a podcast on the topic! For context over the last year alone I’ve lived in 3 different cities, contributed to caring for my nan when she was sick with cancer whilst living in a completely different city to her, dealt with grief, and had other big life changes take place. I share this because I don’t want you to think I have it easy, and I want to encourage you to stop waiting for perfect conditions - and to accept the fact you’re going to have to show up even when you don’t feel like it at times. I believe that’s one of the most important steps if you want to be able to show up consistently - to acknowledge the fact that you’re not always going to want to, and that it’s going to feel hard at times. In today's podcast I discuss that mindset and then beyond that the methods I use and structures I have in place that allow me to stay consistent with content creation of what I believe is a decent quality (although if you have a mind like mine, there's always room for improvement). Wanting to live the best life you can is enough. You don't HAVE to enter a fitness competition or race.

On Saturday a friend of mine asked me what I was training for at the moment, and my initial answer was ‘nothing really’. I then corrected myself - because despite not training for a specific competition or end date, my training DOES have real purpose. I’m training for both my current and future self. I don’t know about you, but I want to be strong and capable. I want to be healthy, feel good, function well, and live a vibrant life. I love being able to show up for those in my life as the best version of me. Both the people in my personal life, and my clients. That is a big enough reason for me to show up and invest in my health and fitness consistently. Fitness competitions and races can be great! I love them, and many of my clients work towards them too. But it’s important to give your efforts meaning beyond these external goals and identify your why beyond the races or competitions you’re working towards. To recognise whilst they’re amazing when the time is right, there’s a time and a place to remove the pressure of them. And to acknowledge that YOU alone are enough of a reason to show up consistently and invest in yourself. In today’s podcast I remind you of that, and share a bit about where I’m currently at with not having a fitness competition, race, or end date that I’m working towards, Danni x Instagram: @dannibosworth Coaching Enquiries: www.dannibosworth.com

Intention Setting For Stress Free Social Occasions!

Intention setting helps us behave more consciously rather than passively.  When we’re working to change our behaviour it’s going to be a conscious effort, it’s not going to happen without thought or intention. Often social occasions are where people feel like they’ve ‘slipped up’ with their goals whatever they may be, or behaved in a way they don’t want to behave.  This can be down to factors such as being out of routine and the challenges that come with that, being surrounded by lots of delicious food, or the mindset we have around the occasion if we have tried to enforce a restrictive approach throughout the rest of the week or if we have an all or nothing mindset for example. It’s common when we’ve struggled with our relationship with food in the past for challenging thought processes to come up during social occasions - or for us to fall back into old patterns of behaviour such as overeating or restriction. So here are some questions you might work through prior to any social occasions you go to, that might help encourage you to behave in a way that is supportive of your goals and relationship with food, and allow you to enjoy these occasions so much more! If you'd like a written copy to work through some intention setting prior to your next social occasion or meal out, you can get yours here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAHEHonOA9o/3-zYnh9rYkSyd31IYoRgPg/view?utm_content=DAHEHonOA9o&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h1732b17159 (it's free!) Or DM me the word 'intentions' on IG and I'll send it over on there, See you next week! Danni x
