81. Leave Amanda Seales alone! Black Autistic Women are Targets
Amanda Seales is being unfairly dog-pilled on. When people are cut down because they're honest and direct, what does this say about society at large? If it's unsafe for a successful, effective, beautiful neurotypical woman (I recorded this a week before she shared she was autistic - okay psychic!) to be unflinching in her anti-establishment critiques, what hope is there for the average black autistic woman? This episode dissects bullying dynamics, the price of honesty, Hollywood, blackness and the isolation that comes from being a truth-teller. I discuss:
The Unfair Treatment of Amanda Seales and Its Implications on black autistic womenThe Intersection of Autism, Likability, and Professional SuccessBlack Hollywood, oppression, and how bullies thrive in silence

Phenomenal
Mukundwa and Nyak are literally some of the most amazing people. I’ve never listened to people more deserving of their platform. They are critical thinkers who are willing to fully interrogate and unpack every topic they discus, and have reached some great conclusions while doing so. These women are such a great resource for guidance on many of life’s common problems, and I can’t recommend listening to them enough.
