    Ep 99 How to intentionally build choice (and freedom)

    Welcome back to the Go First podcast! Today we discuss how to lead oneself through challenging situations. We break down the conversation into three steps: self-awareness, practice, and making a new choice. Self-awareness involves understanding what is currently happening and having a kind attitude towards oneself. Practice involves leveraging the science of neuroplasticity to form new habits and behaviours outside of the challenging situation. Making a new choice involves recognising that one has potential to behave in different ways and being mindful to choose what will serve oneself, the moment, and the other person.     Hi friends! Happy 2021! Welcome to the first episode of the year where I'll talk about expanding your awareness... So where do you go and get that from?! I'll share my experience of going either within or without - aka finding the solution 'inside' you through eg meditation and working with different brain wave states or then going 'outside' and tapping into the consciousness and energy fields of people that can expand your mind. I personally do both of these and hope that this episode will give you more trust into self: we have tools to figure out a lot more we think we can...we just need to learn how to use the machinery!
