    This week on the Hudson Valley Disc Golf Podcast: Alex, Corey and Randy recap their rounds at the DisCap presents the 2026 Mine Kill Disc Golf Championship sponsored by MVP Disc Sports. Alex and Corey also shared some camping stories and we discussed the live round of Disc or No Disc that we had on Saturday. Tim was with us as well and we got to hear some of the improvements he made with his event picking app. With even more live updates during the recording. We also caught up on 2 weeks worth of local events updates including Mondays Prospect Dubs with Evan. We finish it off with a round of Disc or No Disc with some of the rounds we didn’t get to at Minekill. Minekill AM registration is still open the day this releases and on Sunday I’ll be running the DisCap monthly at JPark. 10AM, 27 holes, Flag Day Tag Day.     330. Quads, Sunshine, Picks and Battle Royale

    This Week on the Hudson Valley Disc Golf Podcast: Alex, Corey, Jaimen, Randy, Tim, Joe and Evan were here and Jasan made a surprise appearance to help us go over the week that was in local disc golf. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to many of the local events because of episode length and time constraints but we did get to a few of the leagues that the guys played in.  We spent most of our time talking about Pyramid Quads with Jaimen, Randy and Corey, Corey also played in the Discmania Presents Sunshine Open at 501 and Mile Marker 63 - Powered By Abreu Karol and GMT.  Tim pulled a Jay Gorsage and set up a Draft App so we could make picks for Minekill this weekend. Randy wanted to call the app #thirsttrapsofhvdgp but, as the guy who would probably say it the most, I vetoed that idea.     This week on the Hudson Valley Disc Golf Podcast: Evan, Tim, Alex, Corey and Jaimen are joined by Kaitlyn Clay and Kathleen Bemis. We catch up with all they’ve been doing in Disc Golf recently; one’s  a Team Challenge Captain, one’s a Team Challenge Commissioner, both are DisCap Board members and sometimes they even throw discs. We recap their trip to Leicester, Massachusetts for The NorthEast Women's Global Event and the event they ran the next weekend at SWP, DisCap presents Tower of Flowers WGE. We heard about their rounds both weekends, Evan’s round at SPW and what goes into running an event.  As usual, we covered all of the local events everyone played in and some they didn’t(including maybe a Survivor 50 spoiler) and finished it off with a round of Disc or No Disc that was filled with tough questions and maybe a couple mistakes.     This Week on The Hudson Valley Disc Golf Podcast: Corey, Alex, Randy, Evan, Tim and Joe are joined by a surprise guest to take a look back at the week that was in local disc golf.  We started by addressing a few comments we received on our Facebook page concerning picks for local events and which SkipAce events to add. Then we had a surprise visit. Unfortunately, we had some technical issues and had to get creative to save the audio.  We then talked about some of the preparations being made for the Jammer on June 20th and who would be playing before getting into the last week in local disc golf, including Faux Finals 3 and a couple of leagues from this week.     324. Winging it and Slinging it w/Terry Hudson

    This Week on The Hudson Valley Disc Golf Podcast: Corey, Randy, Tim, Evan and The Correspondent Joe Caron are joined by first time Tournament Director Terry Hudson. Terry gives us some insight on running his first tournament, then we cover anything and everything we could find in the local area in the last couple weeks, including a couple Monthly’s, Weekly Dubs, Tag Rounds and a 4/20 Fling.  Terry, Corey and (I almost forgot) Tim played in the Wing it and Sling it Open at Dove Creek. We get round recaps from them and more insight into the inner workings of running a tournament. We also catch up on some SkipAce and finish it up with a round of Disc or No Disc. If you haven’t heard already, DisCap Pro League is starting up next Wednesday, April 29th! The first week will be at J-Park, and barring any flooding will be on J-South! 5pm tee off $20 PDGA Rated Round offering MPO and FPO divisions.
