    #469 - Energy Update for October 11 - 18: Pluto Goes Direct

    Pluto Goes Direct in Aquarius! On October 15, Pluto finally turns direct after being retrograde since May. Pluto will be in Aquarius for about 20 years, bringing major changes to society and the way we live for generations to come. Pluto is about power, transformation, and tearing down what isn't working, while Aquarius is all about innovation, technology, community, and doing things differently. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, from 1778 to 1798, we saw revolutions, challenges to authority, and the creation of new systems of government. Sound familiar?  🔎 I like to think of Pluto as the cosmic detective. It shines a light on the things we sometimes try to ignore: what we fear, what we hide, and what we're trying to control. During Pluto's retrograde, we've had an opportunity to look beneath the surface and reconsider what's important to us. Now, as Pluto turns direct, it's time to do something with those realizations. You might find yourself saying, "I can't do it like this anymore!" Maybe it's a habit, a relationship, or a work situation you've outgrown. Pluto helps us get to the root of the problem, break old patterns, and take our power back.  💰 And since October is Money Month here at Abundology, let's talk about how this applies to our relationship with money! Pluto invites us to look at the deeper fears and beliefs we carry. So many of our money beliefs aren't even our own. We picked them up from our parents, our families, and society. With Pluto going direct, it's a great time to question those old stories and decide what WE actually believe about money.  ☀️ And there's more good news this Thursday! The Sun is sextile Jupiter, which brings a lovely boost of optimism, confidence, growth, and opportunity. The Sun represents our identity and who we're becoming, while Jupiter is associated with expansion and possibility. This is wonderful energy for celebrating what's working, feeling proud of what you've accomplished, and opening yourself up to new opportunities.  ✨ I love how these two energies work together! Pluto direct helps us recognize what needs to change, uncover the patterns that are holding us back, and reclaim our power. Sun sextile Jupiter gives us a little boost of confidence and optimism to do something about it. We've spent time reflecting and reconsidering. Now it's time to put that awareness to work.     #468 - 2027 Spiritual Business Planning: How to Prepare Your Business for the Year Ahead

    What if the best time to prepare your business for 2027 isn't January 2027...but right now? In this episode, I'm talking with Valerie Demont, Conscious Business Mentor, about why this fall is such an important time to pause, reflect, and consciously prepare your business for the year ahead. We're looking at 2027 through three different lenses: Astrology, Numerology, and Human Design, and all three point to a pretty significant shift in the way we do business. One of the biggest reasons to start planning now is Mars retrograde at the beginning of 2027, lasting until April 1. Mars is the planet of action, drive, and forward movement, so when it's retrograde, the energy tends to be more internal. Rather than charging ahead, the beginning of 2027 may be better suited for reviewing, reassessing, restructuring, and figuring out what really works before pushing forward. And then there's Numerology. 2027 is an 11 Universal Year, which is a Master Number. Eleven brings themes of intuition, inspiration, spiritual awakening, vision, and new ways of thinking. It's not necessarily about doing business the way we've always done it.  We also talk about a major shift happening in Human Design: the movement from the Cross of Planning to the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. This is a huge collective transition that happens only about every 400 years, and it represents a fundamental change in the way we relate to community, support, independence, and the way we build our lives and businesses. So what does all of this mean for your business? It means this fall is a great time to prepare. And then we get into one of the biggest changes happening in business right now: AI. With Uranus in Gemini, we're seeing a massive acceleration in technology, communication, information, and artificial intelligence. AI is already changing the way we work, market, communicate, and run our businesses. But the question isn't simply, "How do I use AI?" It's "How do I consciously use AI without losing the human part of my business?"     #467 - Energy Update for Oct 4 - 11: Libra New Moon

    🌑 It’s a big week energetically! Venus officially went retrograde on October 3, and on Saturday, October 10, we have a powerful Libra New Moon on 10/10. Because Venus rules Libra, she’s basically the star of this New Moon, asking us to get really honest about our relationships, money, values, and what we actually want. And because Venus is retrograde in Scorpio, we’re not getting away with surface-level answers. It’s time for some serious soul-searching.  ⚖️ This Libra New Moon is all about balance, relationships, and getting honest about what you want your life to look and feel like. Libra isn’t about making everyone else happy. It’s about creating a life that feels harmonious for you. And with Jupiter bringing expansion and Saturn bringing a reality check, we’re being reminded that creating more balance doesn’t necessarily mean making our lives smaller. Sometimes balance means making more room for the things we love.  💰 And because Venus is also connected to money, October is officially Money Month here at Abundology! This month I’m looking at our relationship with money, including how we spend it, how we think about it, and how we can move out of scarcity and into a healthier relationship with it. In numerology, 10/10 carries double 1 energy, which is all about new beginnings, new possibilities, and new choices. So rather than simply asking yourself, “What do I want?” this New Moon is asking you to go deeper: Why do I want it? What really matters to me? What am I ready to create, change, release, or make more room for? This is your chance to decide what kind of new beginning is actually aligned with everything you’ve discovered through all that soul-searching.  💫 I’m calling this a Level-Up New Moon. We’re leveling up our relationships, our boundaries, our peace and harmony, and our relationship with money. So set aside a little time on Saturday to get quiet, do some soul-searching, and really listen to what you want.     #466 - Energy Update for Sept 27 - Oct 4: October Astrology & Numerology

    🌕 October starts with Libra energy but we quickly move into much deeper Scorpio territory. This month brings a Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, and a total of six planets plus Chiron retrograde. That’s a LOT of retrograde energy, so October is definitely a month for slowing down, reflecting, and reassessing before making big moves. 💗 Venus retrograde begins October 3, and this one is personal. Venus rules love, relationships, money, beauty, and our personal values, so this is a time to take a closer look at what and who we value. With Venus spending the first part of the retrograde in Scorpio, things may feel a little more intense than usual.  💰 Venus retrograde is also a great time to get serious about your finances. Rather than making big purchases or financial commitments, use these 40 days to look at where your money is going, clean up your spending, cancel subscriptions you don't use, and figure out where you can save or make more money. This is about taking control of your finances without slipping into scarcity mode. 🔄 By the end of October, Mercury will also be retrograde in Scorpio, joining all of the other retrograde planets. With this much retrograde energy, things may feel quieter on the outside while there’s actually a LOT happening internally. This is a good time to pause, rethink, reassess, and make adjustments before moving forward. 🔢 And in numerology, October is a Universal 2 Month. After September’s 1 energy of new beginnings and taking action, the 2 asks us to slow down and allow things to develop. It’s about patience, relationships, cooperation, intuition, and receiving rather than pushing. October may have a definite “not quite yet” feeling, and that may be exactly what we need before taking the next step.     🍂 Fall 2026 Astrology Forecast with Astrologer Deborah Norton ✨ We are heading into a BIG season of retrogrades, and this fall is all about going inward. Right now, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, and Chiron are retrograde. Venus goes retrograde on October 3, followed by Mercury on October 24. With Libra season setting the stage, we’re being asked to slow down, get quiet, and take a deeper look at ourselves. This is a season for asking some big questions: ✨ What do I really value? ✨ What does success mean to me? ✨ Do I feel worthy of what I say I want? ✨ What do I need to feel safe, whole and fulfilled? ✨ What actually makes me happy? With Venus and Mercury both retrograde together, this is a powerful time for soul searching, rethinking our values and getting honest about what we really want.     🍂 Fall is here! The Fall Equinox and Libra season arrive this week, bringing a beautiful shift from the outward energy of summer into a slower, quieter, more inward season. It’s a natural time to pause, reflect, and get back into balance. ⚖️ Libra season is all about balance, relationships, harmony, beauty, and what we value. This is a great week to take an honest look at your life and notice where you might be giving too much, doing too much, or not making enough time for yourself. You don’t have to change everything. It's time for a little fine-tuning of your life.  🌙 The Harvest Moon arrives Saturday, giving us a beautiful opportunity to reflect on our own harvest. What have you grown? What have you learned? How have you changed? Instead of focusing on what you need to release, this Full Moon invites you to count your blessings and appreciate how far you’ve come. ✨ The energy is shifting, and we want to shift with it. Slow down a little. Get quiet. Go inward. Sometimes we need less stimulation and more stillness so we can actually hear our intuition and connect with Spirit and our guides. 📓 And because we’re moving into a slower, more connected time of year, it’s the perfect time to focus on your spiritual practice.     #463 - Energy Update for September 13 - 20: Becoming Someone New

    🌙 A New Chapter Is Beginning We’re stepping into some really interesting energy as we move toward fall. We’ve just closed the eclipse portal, September is a 1 month in a 1 year, and the Fire Horse is bringing plenty of forward movement. It feels like we’ve cleared out the old and are finally getting a glimpse of what comes next.  🔄 Five Retrogrades + Deep Integration We have five planetary bodies retrograde as we head into fall, including Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Uranus, and Chiron. This isn’t about everything going backward. It’s about what’s happening underneath the surface as we heal, reconsider and figure out how to actually live the insights we gained during eclipse season. We’re moving forward more consciously and with intention. 🌊 Neptune Meets Pluto On September 15, Neptune sextiles Pluto for the second time in a long term series of supportive aspects. Neptune brings spirituality and intuition, while Pluto brings deep transformation. Put them together and you get spiritual insight meeting deep transformation. This is about moving from simply understanding spiritual concepts to actually living them, and trusting our intuition and inner knowing.  🔥 Beginning Again, But Not From Scratch Saturn, Neptune and Chiron are all retrograde in Aries, bringing themes of courage, action and new beginnings. We’re beginning again, but we’re not beginning from scratch. Eclipse season showed us what needs to change, Virgo season helps us make a plan, and these Aries retrogrades are helping us build our lives around who we really are. 🍎 A Perfect Time for Renewal Today is also the last day of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, a sacred time of reflection, renewal and beginning again. And the timing is pretty amazing. So much of the energy right now is about closing one chapter, making room for the next, and trusting that we’re getting exactly what we need for our highest good.     🍂 Fall is here energetically! Even though the official first day of fall hasn’t arrived, Labor Day weekend always feels like the beginning of a new season. The days are getting shorter, the mornings are cooler, and we’re naturally beginning to shift from the outward energy of summer into a quieter, more inward season. 🌬️ In Ayurveda, fall is associated with Vata energy, about air, movement, change, and transition. You may notice your thoughts feeling more scattered or suddenly have the urge to reorganize your home, start new projects, or change your routine. The antidote? More grounding: warm, nourishing foods, earlier bedtimes, structure, quiet time, and connecting with nature. 🌿 ✨ September is a 1 Month within a 1 Year, so we’re talking BIG new beginnings. Last week was about the fresh start, and now it’s time to start building and creating daily lives that actually reflect who we’re becoming and getting honest about what matters, what we want, and what needs to change. 🔥 And then comes September 10th, a huge day astrologically! Venus enters Scorpio and asks us to get real about what we truly want. Mercury enters Libra and helps us communicate those truths with honesty and kindness. Uranus retrograde in Gemini encourages us to rethink old beliefs and stories, and the Virgo New Moon brings it all together with a fresh reset and energy to actually take action. 🌙 We’ve been through a lot of energetic change, and now it’s time to integrate those insights into our everyday lives.
