Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl. Girl marries girl. Boy gets boy back, but then his family can’t stand him. Wondery’s new series is all about love, relationships, and the sometimes bumpy road to commitment. Host Ingrid Haas (Chelsea Lately, Key and Peele) recently got engaged herself, and she will explore stories from real couples to learn what went wrong, and how they finally got it right. She’ll recount surprise engagements featuring pop stars and tense wedding ceremonies. And she’ll look for answers to the questions that keep us up at night: Will I ever find someone? If I like it, will I put a ring on it? And how the hell does anyone get to happily ever after anyway?

The Taylor Swift of it All

The Taylor Swift of it All

After another bad date in New York City, Alex sent out a sad tweet into the world wondering if he would ever find his true love. He’d had some red wine, ok? But as fate would have it, an angel was waiting for him in the wings of the internet - it was Taylor Swift. She tweeted back a magical love spell that would lead him to the love of his life and a very special engagement. And Ingrid wonders: why do we stand under waterfalls and cross the country to show our love?

    A Simple Twist of Fate

    A Simple Twist of Fate

Roland had just gotten out of a 30-year marriage when he joined Match.com. He saw Michele’s profile and was instantly smitten. And she instantly spotted a dealbreaker: he was separated, not divorced. But she couldn’t get him out of her head. And when things got serious, she started to question his commitment, until a simple twist of fate intervened. Ingrid wants to know which is more trustworthy when it comes to love: your head or your heart?

    For Richer or Poorer

    For Richer or Poorer

Andy and Naomi didn't see money in quite the same way. Andy had committed himself to a life in comedy, which is another way of saying he’d taken a vow of poverty. He lived day to day. Naomi dreamed of being a comedian too, but she never planned to leave her full-time job with benefits. When she was laid off, she began to wonder if she could commit to forever with a man who’d rather buy a band T-shirt than save for a rainy day.

    Liberté, Egalité, Reality

    Liberté, Egalité, Reality

When Damona and Seth started dating, she was climbing the corporate ladder, and he was a screenwriter eating on three dollars a day. But they were committed to having an equal partnership, which to them meant splitting things down the middle, so they went on cheap but charming dates, and traded chores around the apartment. When their talk turned to their future and marriage , though, they were forced to consider: can you divvy up romance?

    When Opposites Collide

    When Opposites Collide

After only a few months, Hannah knew Jonathan was the one. There was only one problem: they couldn't understand each other. Hannah is an emotional processor. Jonathan, more of a... data processor. Their miscommunication would lead to explosive arguments leaving them wondering if they were truly right for each other. And Ingrid wonders, when it comes to opposites attracting, can you be too different?

Great Podcast but...

So I started listening when the podcast first came out last year and I loved it!!! I thought it was amazing and couldn’t wait for more. I was really bummed to see that there is only two episodes here now. Apparently Wondery moved the episodes to a new app but I think it would be nice to have them back on this app. Hope y’all are doing good during this time. My love is with everyone 💙💙💙

Stop rating shows you love LOW

I like this show! I see a trend of people rating a show extremely low because they loved it but there’s no new episodes. I’m sorry but, do y’all think low ratings help podcast teams bring their shows back to life, or your chosen platform? Backwards. Hate to see it. Very Karen-like. Give an honest rating based on the content of the show or please stay off of this platform as you’re making it function worse 🥲
