I truly agree with almost all of what you say. As a reformed Christian the truth is so so important. I love that you are willing to stand on the truth. After listening for several years and learning so much I have found myself in a strange position. While I agree with your discernment and most of your stances, so much of what you say lacks love and charity in its presentation. When talking to my husband recently about a spirit of negativity that I am battling he asked me to evaluate what I am listening to, specifically your podcast. Over the years I have talked with my husband (an elder in our church) about what I am hearing (he also picks up bits and pieces while I’m listening around the house). Based on what he has heard he is concerned that so much of what is represented almost forgets that many of these men and women (even though they may be in error on a particular position) are still brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to healthily discern the truth according to the word, not be waiting for “gotcha” moments or feeling like I can’t trust anyone. I want to discern in a loving and charitable manner. To do that I need to step away for a while. I love you ladies, have learned so much, and truly pray that I will grow in a way that I can handle your podcast again without being dragged into sin.
