Is It Instinct or Fear? Learning to Trust Your Inner Wisdom

How do you know when your intuition is warning you about something important, and when an old fear is keeping you from moving forward? This Friday on Living Astrology, we're exploring the fascinating relationship between instinct, fear, courage, and inner wisdom. In Human Design, the Spleen Center relates to our instinctive awareness and survival fears. But those fears don't always mean we're in danger. Sometimes they're echoes of past experiences or conditioning that keep us choosing what's familiar over what's possible.Meanwhile, Mars in Leo forms a trine to Saturn in Aries, bringing together the courage to act and the wisdom to know when, why, and how to move forward. We'll explore:- The difference between instinctive awareness and conditioned fear.- The seven fears of the Spleen Center and what they teach us.- Mars trine Saturn: courage, discipline, and mature self-trust.- Gene Key 32 and the journey from Failure to Preservation to Veneration.- How to recognize when fear is protecting you—and when it may be limiting you.Perhaps the real question isn't how to become fearless, but how to recognize which fears deserve our attention.Join me for an hour of Astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, and Myth & Soul as we explore what it means to trust ourselves more deeply.Living Astrology with Janet — Where Myth & Soul Meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys.IF you're wanting to view the youTube video so you can see the slides, follow this link: https://youtube.com/live/Q-2ThIuPU4g

Trust Your Instincts! | Libra New Moon, Venus Rx & Mars in Leo

Tomorrow's New Moon in Libra invites us to reconsider the agreements we make with others—and perhaps the agreements we've made with ourselves. But this is no ordinary invitation to harmony and balance! With Venus retrograde in Scorpio squaring Mars in Leo, questions of love, desire, power, courage, and self-worth are rising to the surface.Meanwhile, in Human Design, the Sun in Gate 57—Instinct and the Earth in Gate 51—Initiation remind us that sometimes our deepest knowing arrives before we're ready to act upon it.

Going Deeper: Wisdom, Revelation & the Libra New Moon

I’m home from Alaska and back LIVE for our Monday morning look at the astrology and Human Design energies shaping the week ahead! We begin with the Sun in Gate 48 — Wisdom, inviting us to draw from the deep well of experience within us, while the Earth in Gate 21 — Self-Regulation asks us to consider what is truly ours to manage, direct, and control. And the astrology seems to echo that invitation to go deeper. The Sun's opposition to Saturn in Aries sets the backdrop as the week begins. Tomorrow, Mercury meets retrograde Venus in Scorpio, potentially bringing conversations, memories, values, relationships, and unfinished stories back to the surface for another look.On Wednesday, Mars in Leo sextiles Uranus in Gemini, bringing movement, courage, fresh ideas, and perhaps a few surprises. And it all carries us toward Saturday's New Moon in Libra—a moment for renewal around relationships, balance, reciprocity, and the agreements we make with ourselves and one another.Join me LIVE as we explore the Astrology, Human Design, and Gene Keys of the week ahead and discover what wisdom may be waiting for us when we're willing to go a little deeper.Living Astrology with Janet — Where Myth & Soul meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys.

At the Libra Threshold, Part 2: The Equinox Chart for America

On Monday, we stood at the Libra Threshold and looked inward. We explored the Human Design Gates of Love, embodiment, Spirit, and what it means to cross a seasonal threshold consciously. Now we turn our attention outward. The Sun has entered Libra, the Autumn Equinox has arrived, and a new seasonal chart has been cast. In mundane astrology, an ingress chart can offer us a symbolic map of the collective landscape for the season ahead. So what does the 2026 Libra Ingress chart reveal when we cast it for the United States? In this special Wednesday edition of Living Astrology, we'll explore the major planetary patterns, house placements, tensions, and opportunities within the Equinox chart—and consider the larger story they may be describing as we move from now toward the December Solstice. This isn't about predicting exactly what will happen. It's about reading the symbolic landscape: Where is the pressure? Where is change trying to occur? What wants our attention? And what might this season be asking of us collectively? The scales have shifted. We've crossed the threshold. Now let's look at the landscape on the other side.

At the Libra Threshold: Embodiment, Spirit, and Equinox

We have arrived at a threshold.Today is the final day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and tomorrow the Sun crosses 0° Libra, marking the Autumn Equinox and the beginning of a new season. At the same time, Human Design brings us into one of its powerful transition weeks, with the Sun moving through Gate 46—Embodiment and the Earth grounding us through Gate 25—Spirit. What does it mean to bring Spirit fully into the body as we prepare to cross from one season into another? We’ll also look at today’s Mercury in Libra sextile Jupiter in Leo—a conversation between the mind and the Wise Guide that may help us see the larger story unfolding around us.Then we’ll cast the Autumn Equinox chart for the United States and explore what this seasonal threshold may reveal about the months ahead—not as prediction, but as a symbolic map of the themes entering the collective conversation. And finally, Venus returns to our table. We’ll finish our Tea With Venus series with Part 7 and the question Venus leaves with us as she continues her journey toward retrograde:**What would you choose if you truly believed you were worthy of receiving it?**Join me for Living Astrology as we stand together at the threshold between seasons—and listen for what wants to come with us into the next one.**Living Astrology with Janet — Where Myth & Soul meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys.**

The Unfinished Conversation | Mercury, Saturn, Chiron & Tea With Venus

What happens when the conversation isn't finished?Today Mercury in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries, asking us to look carefully at the tension between what we want to say, what another person needs to hear, and the consequences of our words. Then on Saturday, Chiron retrogrades back into Aries, returning to the 29th degree—the final, potent degree of the sign—where the Healer will remain until October 12.There is something unfinished here. Before Chiron can move forward, we may be asked to revisit an old story around identity, courage, independence, belonging to ourselves, or the wounds that have shaped who we've become. And with a quieter cosmic Sunday ahead, we're going back into the underworld with Venus as we continue—and hopefully finish!—our **Tea With Venus** series.Venus is already descending through Scorpio toward her retrograde journey, inviting us beneath the surface of relationship, value, desire, reciprocity, and the invisible agreements we make with others and with ourselves.Join me for **Living Astrology — Where Myth & Soul meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys.**☕ Bring your coffee or tea, and let's see what the cosmos is asking us to notice.

The Future Is Being Rewritten: Neptune, Pluto & What We Choose to Carry Forward

Something is shifting beneath the surface of our collective story.Neptune and Pluto are moving through a long, rare sextile—two of astrology’s great agents of dissolution and transformation working together as the old world changes and a new one struggles to take form. But the future isn’t simply something that happens to us.We participate in what comes next.In Wednesday’s Living Astrology, we’ll explore the Neptune–Pluto sextile through the lens of our ongoing **Architecture of the Future** conversation. What is dissolving? What is being transformed? What possibilities are beginning to emerge—and what role do our individual choices play in shaping what comes next? And then Venus joins the conversation. As Venus continues her descent through Scorpio toward her coming retrograde, **Tea With Venus** asks a deeply personal question:**What do you value enough to carry forward into the life you are becoming?**Relationships. Agreements. Desires. Self-worth. Resources. The things we have loved—and perhaps the things we have outgrown. The future may be being rewritten, but we still get to decide what we bring with us.Join me Wednesday for **Living Astrology: Where Myth & Soul meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys.**

When the Waters Stir: Conflict, Transformation & the Deeper Current

"Living Astrology - where Myth & Soul meet Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys." Something deeper is moving beneath the surface this week.We begin Monday with the Virgo Sun sextile Mars in Cancer, creating an opportunity to put thoughtful, practical action behind what matters to us.Then Tuesday brings a significant energetic shift. A new Human Design week begins with the Sun moving into Gate 6—Impact and the Earth grounding us through Gate 36—Turbulence. At the same time, Black Moon Lilith enters Capricorn and Venus squares Pluto, bringing questions of relationship, self-worth, power, desire, and the agreements we make with ourselves and others into sharper focus. And underneath these more personal movements is a much larger collective current. On Wednesday, retrograde Neptune in Aries forms an exact sextile with retrograde Pluto in Aquarius—an aspect that has been developing for years and speaks to the profound transformation taking place within our collective ideals, structures, dreams, and understanding of power.Join me for Living Astrology as we explore the Astrology, Human Design, and Gene Keys of the week ahead—and ask what the turbulence may actually be trying to reveal.
