    In this episode we discuss Nick's new J Crew Model jacket - how to wear it to look grownup and sexy in Virginia!  We reflect on our talk show dream guests - Nick avoids the trap!  We chat about highs and lows of Christmas - especially our homemade gifts (Christmas vest!) and looking hideous at the mall! We reminisce on the journey of blending our family and capping it with our "love child" and turning this podcast from Oh Momma to Oversized Baggage. We have a lot of baggage as divorced and remarried parents of 4 kids!  We laugh about our 1st date - which was supposed to be at an abandoned warehouse and our bad dating advice for singles now - used LinkedIn and share those talents immediately!  Now if only Libby could convince Nick to rap! Libby shares about her trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia, with her youngest child.  We also discuss our goals for 2026 - including a rather low bar for sex.  Libby and Nick live and work in Richmond Virginia.

    Ep 56: Freezing & Grumpy at Bush Gardens, SNL, Pour-Over Coffee & Insecure Men

    In this episode, we get real about giving 0 f's while freezing our baguettes off at Bush Gardens Christmastown - but our kids had an amazing time!   It's the most unhinged time of the year - with as many quotes from Christmas Vacation as possible! Libby learns that Richmond still has a minor league hockey team - which she saw play on her 18th birthday! We discuss our inability to remember shared custody over the holidays - when do we celebrate Christmas?  We chat about the Holderness family's Christmas Vacation musical - we'd see that! Nick reveals that when the pastor told Nick she loved him, he replied Ditto!  We also talk about Bill Mahr, Trevor Noah, SNL, and Bowen Yang. We revisit the sex stone - Nick is still not impressed. Nick rants about pour-over coffee and how much he misses Mr. Coffee. Nick recalls a fight between 2 insecure friends.
