    Episode 26-27 How A Patient Used Their Mind To Heal Their Body Paul came to my office about a year ago complaining of congestion in his chest, chronic coughing, difficulty breathing and sleep apnea. In an attempt to get better he visited a medical doctor. The doctor prescribed him a few drugs and while they did offer some relief, they also produced some nasty side-effects. Side-effects he wasn't willing to live with. This inspired Paul to pursue a more natural approach. Unfortunately, this also ended in disappointment as the holistic doctor he visited placed him on a ton of supplements... supplements that DID provide some benefit but were costing Paul hundreds of dollars each month. Soon after that, a recommendation from a friend led him to my office. I put him on a program of Chiropractic care, dietary changes, and a FEW supplements. This led to significant improvement… But only up to a point. Despite the improvements, Paul's health was still not where he wanted it to be which led me to ask him the following question: "Do you believe your Mind can play a significant role in healing your Body?" He responded with a resounding "Yes." I then proceeded to give Paul three suggestions... suggestions which he faithfully followed. They worked! On this episode I share with you the three suggestions I gave Paul to get his Mind to heal his Body. Suggestions anyone can use. Studies that specifically prove how sweat can help your body rid itself of toxins. Something, however, changed my mind. Something related to one of the toxins I was studying…  Atrazine. Atrazine is a powerful herbicide used to prevent weeds from growing around crops. And while that certainly "sounds" good, there are some serious consequences related to the use of Atrazine. Consequences such as Infertility, Low Testosterone levels, and Birth Defects. Needless to say, that's not good. It's also not talked about. Until now. Sweating is good for your health and should be a vital part of any healing protocol. The reason why is simple: Sweating helps your body get rid of toxins. This is incredibly important in this day and age as we are literally surrounded by toxins. - Toxins in the foods we eat. - Toxins in the water we drink and bathe in. - Toxins in the air we breathe. - Toxins in the products we apply to our skin and hair. - Toxins in the clothes we wear. - Toxins in the sheets we sleep on. Basically, toxins are everywhere and they are making us sick!!! On this episode I explain the role of toxins in chronic disease.
