    #341: When The Unthinkable Happens… You May Qualify For Bereaved Parents Leave!

In this week’s episode, we are talking about what happens with the mother or primary carer of your newborn baby passes away and the how the new Bereaved Partner’s Paternity Leave can help you to manage this life-changing situation.  Breaved Partner’s Paternity Leave or BPPL, is a day one employment right... providing up to 52 weeks... of unpaid leave from 6th April 2026.  To get this leave depends on your relationship to the child and to the primary carer who passed away and depends on you taking up the main responsibility for the child's care.
