219. Thought Deviations
Thoughts motivate all the actions we take. When it comes to overeating, there are particular reasons why we choose to dismiss the body’s signals of hunger and satiety and respond to our emotional appetite. On today’s podcast Molly explains how thought deviations encourage us to focus more on food and less on our body when cravings kick in. You’ll learn how thought deviations are rooted in a diet mentality, the common ones many of us believe, and why these patterns of thinking are not “errors” but old beliefs that need to be challenged. Insightful and entertaining...a must listen for food lovers who struggle with overeating
I learn something with each listen. Wise and thoughtful perspective from seasoned chef and life coach for those who love to eat but have a challenge knowing how to stop. I really enjoy that you also have added additional segments with other inspiring people. You have a true talent!
Fat is Flavor
Chef Zemek is the rare exception. Not a ghoulish dietition. Not a fanatic fitness trainer. Someone for whom food is not just fuel, like most of us.
Inspiring and Motivational
For the past 3 weeks, I have been a podcast junkie. Thankfully, I found Molly’s podcast listed in the back of a Menopause diet book I was reading. After the first show, I was hooked. I listened to ALL of Molly’s 201 episodes!! I am actually going through withdrawals because I just listened to the last one yesterday. :( So much of what she says resonates with me. I am on this journey and it is very helpful, inspiring and motivating to know that I no longer need to keep searching. I eagerly am looking forward to the next podcast and the book too. Thank you for sharing! -Lisa
