This is a very good podcast! Her research is amazing and I’ve learned a lot about other areas of the world!

Host has mental problems. Podcast is put out at an erratic schedule (quite apropos really). Give this a hard pass.

Very well researched, but lots of extreme right (and white) winged tangents and dog whistles bordering on hate speech. It’s an odd contrast, presenting a podcast about travel and culture while also coming across as so ignorant, hateful and closed minded. Articulates contempt for women in almost every episode. It’s weird and sad. I do hope she finds happiness. It’s harder to enjoy the pod with all that.

Well-researched and delivered long-form content with interesting special topics. Creator cancelled my Patreon membership because I objected to very unfair hate speech by another member directed at all Democrats and leftists in the wake of Charlie Kirks murder. As a Democrat who abhors violence and condemns his murder my “crime” was to advocate dialing it down and being kind. It seems insane to object to that but apparently she agrees with the other member and only wants members who are extremists. Why divide your listeners based on political ideology and deny the humanity of half of them???
