    Travel Diary: Fruita, Colorado 2026

    On this month’s episode of The Georgia and Daniel Show, we’re taking you on the road with us — recording on location from Fruita, Colorado! ✈️🏔️ Our adventure begins with our NonRev standby journey from Chicago (ORD) to Denver (DEN) and on to Grand Junction (GJT)— sharing the ups and downs of flying standby and the excitement of making it to our destination. Friday kicks off with a snowy walk along the beautiful Colorado River, followed by lunch at Munchies. That evening, we enjoy a cozy spaghetti dinner with cousins and settle in to watch the Olympic Games together. On Saturday, we take a scenic drive to Ouray, exploring the charm of this small mountain town and relaxing at the historic Wiesbaden Vapor Cave. Later, we head to Ridgway for dinner at Colorado Boy Pub & Brewery, and top off the night with dessert — oatmeal raisin Reese’s Peanut Butter ice cream cookie sandwiches (yes, they’re as amazing as they sound!). From snowy strolls to small-town charm, family time to foodie finds, this episode is a joyful travel diary filled with laughter, adventure, and memories made together.
