Farwell first engaged with Birchmore when she was a 13 year old Stoughton Police Explorer. Information surrounding Joshua Heal's involvement with Sandra was redacted in much of the Internal Affairs Report but after talking to dozens of sources, Kirk was able to fill in the blanks and uncover new information about another officer who took advantage of Sandra. I’m from Delaware. I had to back up the first episode 3 times bc I thought the lady said Mark Wahlberg was the one having the party! Anyway… this was prob one of my fave true crime podcasts bc it seemed real and unrehearsed, the accents and words were local to the area and the narrator was into it bc he’s from there! Please do more true crime!!

I cannot understand why the show is rated as highly as it is. The stories are good; I’ll give them that. But in the first season, about half of the audio is incomprehensible, and there are so many figures introduced that it’s difficult to keep them all straight. In the second season, it is SO much opinion and bloviating. Also, my god, stop with the endless lists without any actual analysis. We get it. There are a lot of crimes. Tell us more about the actual victims, though.
