    'The Odyssey' Alongside Christopher Nolan's Filmography Before a Major Announcement About the Future of the Show - #300

    This is the big episode 300, and I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. For 300, Myles has seen The Odyssey (my rave review is here), so we get in deep with Christopher Nolan's latest. We also tackle Nolan's full filmography (my ranking is here), as well as several of your questions. Finally, we wrap with the announcement from Myles that he will be departing the show, with this being his final episode as a regular. So, be sure to wish him well, though he may return from time to time, when certain releases of note hit, like Resident Evil, etc. We may be taking next week off, but when we return, either next week or in August with 301 and beyond, there will be rotating guest co-hosts for a bit, as we figure out what works for the future of the show. Bear with us for a bit, though to be clear, the podcast is not ending, just reimagining things...     Joey and Myles Go Over Their July 4th Holiday Movie Viewings

    For episode 298, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This time around, we're hanging out and discussing what we watched over the July 4th holiday weekend. Now, some people go patriotic on the Fourth of July, while others head to the movies. Not us. I watched an eclectic mix of films that included My Blue Heaven, National Lampoon's Vacation, Rocky IV, and Streets of Fire, all of which are discussed within the episode. Myles, on the other hand, caught up on A Few Good Men, at last, but also subjected himself to The Flash. As for new releases, I've seen and reviewed (here) Evil Dead Burn, so we get into that as well. Throw in a few questions and some game chatter, and what we have is a nice mix of topics, as we close in on the big 300th episode...     Joey Pays Tribute to His Fallen Four-Legged Friend Before Discussing 'Supergirl' and 'Toy Story 5' with Myles #296

This time around, we start off on a sad note, as I talk a bit about the loss this week of my dog, Bentley. I wrote about him here, and he will be profoundly missed. After that, we're back on the movie train, discussing a variety of titles, including and older title like True Lies, as well as new/recent releases like Supergirl (reviewed here), They Will Kill You (reviewed here), and Toy Story 5 (reviewed here). Plus, I mention a July gem in I Want Your Sex.
