SAG Awards predictions, Past Lives Oscar nominee Celine Song

SAG Awards predictions, Past Lives Oscar nominee Celine Song

Unlike the 2023 BAFTA Awards, where none of the winners went on to win Oscars, this year's ceremony awarded many of the names we've heard all season — but Best Actor still remains a tight race between Cillian Murphy, who won the BAFTA, and Paul Giamatti, who's won many other precursors. We preview the SAG Awards and offer predictions for the main categories. Plus, Past Lives writer and director Celine Song, Oscar-nominated for her original screenplay, chats with Awardist host Gerrad Hall about her directorial debut and how her decisions behind the camera worked in service of her script, inspired by her own life.

Condescending and Negative. EW has fallen.

Used to love EW but this The Oscar prediction episode was insufferable. the hate the predictor showed Oppenheimer was overkill. The most baffling was the editing comment. Don’t care for haters making predictions. Unsubscribed
