    228. ONE Question to Become the Richest and Happiest CEO You Know (that goes beyond mathing the math)

I've decided to buy a place in NYC, even though on paper, it's not the most financially leveraged move I could make. For years, I was very clear I'd never buy here because the math doesn't math. But as I got honest about my values, my need for safety, and what true wealth actually looks like for me, something shifted. In this episode, I'm unpacking ONE Question to Become the Richest and Happiest CEO You Know (that goes beyond mathing the math). In this episode, you'll hear: Why the "most leveraged" move on paper isn't always the most leveraged move for your life  and the nuance most financial teaching leaves out. The difference between being rich and wealthy and why understanding your ratio of both changes every financial decision you make. How to get clear on your unique money blueprint for true wealth and use it to make decisions that support your values, financial success, and happiness. Why the same decision can be the right move for you at one stage and the wrong one at another  and how to know when it's time to revisit. The delayed vs. instant gratification piece most business owners get wrong and why building any kind of true wealth (financial, relational, health, experiential) asks you to sit with both.   Episode Links: Join Kim on Substack at Business Inside Out here Connect with Kim on IG: @kimargetsinger Book a free coaching consultation here Kim's website

    227. ONE Question to Expand Your Success & Manifest What You Actually Want (and stop chasing or building someone else's dream)

I just took my mindset and manifesting to a whole new level and started "crazy journaling." It's been wild what it's uncovered and what's shown up for me in 24 hours. In fact, it's had me make a decision and set a financial goal I was absolutely sure I was against…until now. In this episode, I'm unpacking ONE Question to Expand Your Success & Manifest What You Actually Want (and stop chasing or building someone else's dream). In this episode, you'll hear: What I decided because no one would ever know, that I'm ironically telling you and claiming as done. The surprising way smart, successful high achievers (and dare I say, recovering perfectionists) unintentionally play small and limit their earning potential. What "crazy journaling" is, and why I recommend this practice to create clarity and expand what you think is possible and what you practically manifest. ONE Question I ask myself to crazy journal, and why this matters most for business owners in the online space where we're constantly seeing other people's results and being marketed what we should want.   Episode Links: Episode 93: You Asked, I Answered: ONE Question About Mindset Work that Creates Success, More Money, and a Business You Love Join Kim on Substack at Business Inside Out here Connect with Kim on IG: @kimargetsinger Book a free coaching consultation here Kim's website

    226. ONE Question to Solve "Better" Problems Like a CEO

I'm working less and making the same or more than ever in my business. It's not because things are suddenly "easy," but they do feel that way. I'm still doing plenty that might look "hard" from the outside looking in. Last month, for as easeful as it felt, I also had a couple of capital P Problems. They just barely blipped on my radar. That's why in this episode, I'm unpacking ONE Question to Solve "Better" Problems Like a CEO. I'm sharing how I think about, handle, and address problems in my business to continue to serve my clients well, run things smoothly, and scale in a way that also feels good and allows me to enjoy the ride.  We covered: Why "no more problems" isn't my goal but "better" problems are (and how these can help you grow and scale, too). ONE question I ask myself the second something breaks (or gets hard) so I skip the spiral and the drama and go straight to solving it. What actually caps most people's revenue (it's not what you think it is) and how to sidestep it to sustain and grow your income. How to use this question to expand your capacity to hold bigger success without it costing you your peace.   Episode Links: Substack article: The Knicks won the NBA Finals because Brunson left $113 MILLION on the table (the scaling strategy nobody wants to hear that made me an extra $100k) Join Kim on Substack at Business Inside Out here Connect with Kim on IG: @kimargetsinger Book a free coaching consultation here Kim's website It Takes What it Takes by Andy Staples and Trevor Moawad Dissolve the Problem by Richard Dots

    225. ONE Question to Scale by Taking Up Space (and Stop Pretending Anyone Benefits When You Shrink)

It's not lost on me that I've been coaching my clients to "own their magic and results," "stop hiding in plain sight," and "take up space" for over a decade…and, this has also been my edge at every level. At a recent mastermind retreat, I got unexpectedly asked to teach the room on my genius more than once, and it surfaced the next layer of work I didn't know I needed. It's left me thinking about why we shrink, and why taking up space is so expansive for us, our business, clients, and everyone around us. In Episode 225, I'm unpacking ONE Question to scale by taking up space (and stop pretending anyone benefits when you shrink). In this episode, you'll hear: Why taking up space is the most underrated growth lever in your business. The number one thing you have to have more of if you want to sell and scale past six figures. The sneaky ways high achievers show up, take action, do all the right things, check the boxes, and still hide in plain sight (and how this limits your success and revenue). The real reasons we shrink, the hidden "benefits" we think we're getting, and what it's actually costing us and the people around us.   Episode Links: Kim's Free Masterclass, Social Currency: Claim your free seat here Live replay: The crazy thing that happened to me at a mastermind event (and the mindset & manifestation lesson from it) Join Kim on Substack at Business Inside Out here Connect with Kim on IG: @kimargetsinger Book a free coaching consultation here Kim's website

    224. ONE Question for Financial Security & Summer Fridays (without hustling harder)

I have over $125k liquid (not in investments) and there's still a part of me that worries about the bottom falling out. I broke up with chasing more money to prove I'm a "good" coach a long time ago. But the hard work = more money and success thing has been tougher to unwind. My guess is some version of this lives in you too, whether it shows up as hustling harder for safety or pendulum swinging into avoidance so you don't burn out. Either way, this keeps us wiring our security, and our revenue, to how much or little we work. That's why in this episode, I'm unpacking ONE Question for Financial Security & Summer Fridays (without hustling harder). In this episode, you'll hear: Why the money you make matters but isn't the best metric for security or sustainability. The conversation I have with my high achieving clients making $10k-$20k months and the work we focus on to help them scale, pay themselves more, and enjoy their money.  That time I "accidentally" overbooked myself with 29 1:1s and why more clients and revenue isn't always the path to making more or creating steadiness the way we think it is. The pattern interrupt I had to give myself, why I'm actually taking Summer Fridays, and what every CEO needs to cultivate for thought leadership and next-level results. How I'm using this ONE Question as my own mindset work to rewire my relationship with work, money, my business, and safety.   Episode links: Join Kim on Substack at Business Inside Out here Connect with Kim on IG: @kimargetsinger Book a free coaching consultation here Kim's website

    223. ONE Question to Dismantle the Industry's Dirty Little Secret and Avoid Burning Down a Great Business

Ever wonder what multi-six and seven-figure business owners actually talk about when no one's watching? One of my  peers, who runs a $600k/year business with an 80% profit margin, met me for coffee here in NYC. And we didn't hold back.  We talked about the investments that have and haven't been worth it, what's actually working in marketing right now, the real math behind "passive income," and what we wish more people understood about scaling. Including the dirty little secret nobody in this industry wants to say out loud: a lot of the people teaching you how to scale to multi-millions aren't taking home anywhere close to what you think they are. And chasing that number and business model, without understanding what it actually costs, is exactly how smart, profitable business owners end up burning down something great. In Episode 223, I'm unpacking ONE Question to dismantle the industry's dirty little secret and avoid burning down a great business, and how to use your answer to change how you make every strategic decision in your business. In this episode, you'll hear: The real math behind a well-known $10M/year business and what she actually takes home, why it's still impressive, and what it tells you about the true cost of that model. Why "just do what feels good" isn't a scaling strategy and what to do instead. The counterintuitive truth about scaling that nobody wants to hear, and why it's actually the thing that helps you make more. ONE Question to cut through the noise, expose the tradeoffs hiding inside every business model, and know exactly where to focus to scale smarter for the results that actually matter to you.
