    What does life with MS really look like?

    Right now, nearly 38,000 Australians are living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), however, fewer than one in three Australians have heard of MS, and among those who have, most still don't believe people living with it can lead active, happy lives. But the modern reality can look very different.Nine in 10 Australians with the most common form of MS, relapsing-remitting MS, say they feel positive about their future. With the right support and access to modern treatments, 92% say they can live life fully. They just need the rest of us to catch up.So where did this gap come from, and why hasn't it caught up with us yet?     Headlines: ISIS fighters' wives arriving in Aus

    Today's headlines include: A group of Australian women who married ISIS fighters, and their children, are due to land back in the country in the coming hours.  A passenger onboard the cruise ship affected by an outbreak of hantavirus has told Spanish media one of the people onboard has returned to Australia. Energy Minister Chris Bowen has announced plans to force gas-exporting companies to reserve 20% of their product for Australians. And today’s good news! An American physical therapist has become the first woman to win the overall title at the Cocodona 250 Ultramarathon in the U.S. state of Arizona – a 400km race.     Headlines: Alleged Bondi gunman faces new charges

    Today's headlines include: The 24-year-old man accused of carrying out the deadly Bondi Beach attack is facing new charges, in addition to existing terrorism, murder, and attempted murder charges. Three child protection workers in the Northern Territory have been stood down over their handling of a welfare case involving Kumanjayi Little Baby. A group of women and children connected to ISIS will arrive in Australia tomorrow, after years in a Syrian refugee camp following the fall of Islamic State. And today’s good news: Researchers from Trinity College Dublin have located a long-lost manuscript of the earliest known poem written in the English language.     A luxury cruise ship is stranded in the Atlantic Ocean after a rare virus killed three passengers. The World Health Organisation has confirmed the on board outbreak as hantavirus, a disease spread by rodents.
