Hello Hyrule: A Legend of Zelda Travelogue

Thank you so much for making this wonderful show, it’s my comfort podcast and brings me joy every time I hear it. Petra you got me into lore hunting (can’t wait for yall to cover Majora’s Mask) and Chris you make me laugh whenever I need it. You are doing the world a good service and I pray to hylia you’ll never stop. Little lore theory for the experts. In Skyward Sword near Lake Floria you can find the Ancient Cistern. It’s architecture is golden with a lot of Buddhist/spiritual motifs, it has a light and a dark side, it’s boss resembles a large monster in armor and uses scimitars for its weapon, and the dungeon’s idea is themed around conservation of water (what real cisterns are used for.) This all seem a bit familiar? Very Gerudo-esque! (The statue over Oot’s spirit temple resembles a monk, and the Gerudo have always had a very light-and-dark theme what with contrasts of Nabooru and Ganondorf or Koume and Kotake). The Gerudo never make an appearance in Skyward Sword, but we have evidence from the sand sea that the current state of the world is experiencing some form of severe drought. My theory is that the Gerudo were originally a water-dwelling tribe which eventually suffered because of the oncoming drought, and thus built the cistern in hopes of sustaining them (hence gerudo desert and lanayru split off, appearing more so like they did in Breath of the Wild.) The Gerudo might be evolutions of the zora in the same way Rito were. (Ps learned about Shadow of the Colossus and Outer Wilds from your show and they’ve since become my favorite games! Thank you!) Yo What the heck does a boko taste like PS this is not cannibalism. A boko is technically a pig no I said a Boko not a boat never mind OK sorry this is not cannibalism. I know that spelled wrong does cannibalism. You shouldn’t do that also when he said the great fairies. what they taste like well those aren’t technically he might not have meant great fairy’s . I think that he meant just the normal fairies, cause you can eat the fairies in the game. Also, can you guys tell me where fierce deity link torso is I got the rest But I cannot find red citadel if you could just tell me where all of them are that would be helpful.totk is so hard, and the world is massive you know what else is massive? The low taper fade!Of course my friends think that saying that is so last year. Yeah eating the fairies is not cannibalism.
