Reality Alert : Love Is Blind / The Ultimatum / Perfect Match

I wish they would stick to the subject more. I’ve learned more about the podcasters’ lives than anyone on the shows they’re reviewing. Entertaining but more asides than show info.

I recently went back and listened to old episodes recapping too hot to handle and the difference between those episodes and recent ones was stark. It’s no longer a fun-loving conversation, often bringing up other seasons or reality shows. Instead I find myself cringing at what Max and guests say as often as I do the shows they’re recapping. Max no longer does much of the sound board which was always a fun bit. The show is seriously missing Ben and his counter balance to Max going over the top. Max made a huge mistake kicking Ben off the show. The podcast has lost its spark and I will be unfollowing and not listening to future episodes. I stopped midway through the LIB finale and just couldn’t stomach it anymore.

They managed to be all the isms in one episode. First time listener; last time listener.

Not fun. Not entertaining. And there was nothing a sane person could agree with.
