Reality Alert

I am a fan of Max and his comedy style. Max, the “essence” of your talent is astutely and hilariously making fun of toxic masculinity. This works best for you when you have a like-minded male cohost. It allows your core audience (undoubtedly mostly female Millennials) to feel as if we are listening into the private conversation of two of our male friends interacting how we HOPE our male friends speak and joke when women aren’t around. This is why your podcast isn’t working with female cohosts. You get close with the awesome hosts from When Harry Dumped Sally, but you need a dude by your side again to really shine and embrace your particular niche.

It’s been almost a year since Max has stolen this pod from his co host Ben. So far zero accountability, zero apologies and zero explanations to their listeners. Instead, he’s blocked and shadow banned everyone who asks about it. This show has gone downhill and it’s become a hollow shell of what it used to be when the show had actual chemistry between hosts. Max doesn’t even offer bonus content on their patron anymore. What’s the point of even subscribing? It’s obvious that the heart of this show has been removed. I really hope Max can find his way to accountability and making things right with Ben.

I love waiting for this podcast the second it drops. You guys are awesome and one of my top fav podcasts to recap all the shows I listen too. It feels good! Good work keep it up!

Update- the show is just not enjoyable anymore. :( I miss Ben Just to Ben, this show is HILARIOUS so I’m not going anywhere! Podcast breakups are super sad and I’m gonna miss Ben, BUT - excited to see what happens next for the show. You got this, Max!
