March 2026 Retreat | Talk I: Connecting the Dots: a Homily on St. Joseph

Dots of revelation were sprinkled throughout the Old Testament. But Joseph, chosen to experience first hand the unfolding mysteries of Salvation, had to take many steps of faith before seeing any of those dots connected.  Our March Adoration Sodality Day of Recollection was held on March 19th, the Solemnity of St. Joseph. Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ was our guest speaker for the day. Fr. Mitch Pacwa - BIO Fr. Mitch decided that he wanted to be a Jesuit in high school. February 2026 Retreat | Talk II: Lenten Confession Pop Quiz

Fr. Dominic Mary, MFVA surprised us all by pulling a Pop Quiz on Confession out of his Franciscan habit (don’t think it has back pockets). Can you answer them all?  Father Dominic Mary of Our Lady of Grace, is originally from Wisconsin and started out as an engineer, but thanks to an inspiring college roommate, he embraced his Catholic faith with a renewed zeal. After some time working in Chicago as an engineer, he joined the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word thirty-two years ago, in 1994. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 2004 so he will celebrate twenty-two years as a priest this year. In August of 2012, he completed his studies in Canon Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Currently Fr. Dominic is assigned here at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament where he daily celebrates Masses, hears Confessions, blesses our religious objects and delivers talks to groups of pilgrims. In addition he serves his community as a Council Member of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word and serves as a Canon lawyer in various capacities.
