Dear Church
Do you remember the last time you got a handwritten letter? In the age of email, text messages, and social media, it’s rare to find a personalized letter in your mailbox. And yet, when we open the pages of the New Testament, we find that 22 out of the 27 books are epistles—or handwritten letters sent to 1st Century churches—to address everything from faith to theology to congregational problems and disagreements. On Sunday, April 24 we’re kicking off an all-new sermon series, “Dear Church.” Together, we’ll look at how these timely words to the Church in the 1st Century are still timeless words to the Church in the 21st Century and beyond.
