    Episode #250: John Taylor Revelation #11-The 1886 Revelation W/David Patrick

    Today on the podcast David Patrick joins me as we have a discussion about the John Taylor Revelation #11 also known as the 1886 revelation. We start our conversation by David giving us a little background on how he came to be a Mormon Fundamentalist. From there we move into examining the life of John Taylor, as we discus Taylor’s background, his role in early Mormon history, and the significance of the revelation on plural marriage. We covered Taylor’s early ministry, his experiences in Nauvoo and Carthage, his near-fatal wounds during the martyrdom, and his leadership during the Utah period. David shared details from historical sources aboutTaylor’s character, his publishing and debating efforts, and his steadfast defense of plural marriage.     Episode #249: Joseph Smith Revelation #56-Joseph Smith Standing As The Prophet Ezekiel W/Josh Winchell

    On this episode Josh Winchell joins me as we discuss Joseph Smith's Revelation #56, which compares Joseph to theprophet Ezekiel. Josh brings the historical context of Ezekiel's prophecies from 585 BC and discussed how Joseph Smith's revelation from 1842 mirrored Ezekiel's warnings to ancient Egypt. The conversation included background information about John D. Lee, who recorded Joseph's revelation, and compared the prophetic roles of both Daniel and Ezekiel in their respective time periods.     Episode #248 Courtship & Marriage In Mormon Fundamentalism W/Hyrum Blackmore

    On this episode I sit down and have a conversation with Hyrum Blackmore, we start our conversation by talking aboutthe Blackmores family history and how they found their way into Mormon Fundamentalism, the evolution of their community in Canada, and the community's split from the FLDS under Warren Jeffs. We then discussed the challenges and changes that occurred during and after the split, including the impact on families and leadership structures.     Episode #247 Uncanonized Revelations Joseph Smith #33 W/Freeman Bird

    On this was an episode of the podcast I have Freeman Bird on to breakdown the Joseph Smith Revelation #33 in theRestored Version of the Scriptures. Feeman is a software engineer and new father who converted to Mormon fundamentalism. Freeman shared his religious journey, beginning with his childhood in the LDS Church, his parents' loss of faith following the publication of "Rough Stone Rolling" and Mormon Stories podcast, and his subsequent embrace of communism and Marxist ideology during his teenage years. He described how he eventually returned to religion through paganism and esoteric studies, ultimately finding his way to Christ.     Episode#246: Re-Release Of Principles Of Brotherhood & Unity W/David Nielsen

    Its been tough week for some in Mormon Fundamentalism, with the passing of David Nielsen. I sat here this evening wondering what to do about the podcast this week. I thought about just posting an episode as normal, but that didn’t feel right. I thought about not posting anything, that too feltwrong. So, as I prayed to know what to do, I was given an idea. That is to re-release David’s last episode of the podcast he had done with me on Brotherhood. I was still not sure if that was correct so I reached out to a member of David’s family to ask him if he felt that would be proper because I didn’t want to do anything that would be improper or could cause hurt feelings to another. He was in agreement that re-releasing this episode would be a good thing. Now before I roll into this episode I just want to say a few things. First, David was a friend, he was the first Fundamentalistto reach out after I started the podcast and encouraged me to keep going and that it was a worthwhile cause. I am not sure I can fully express how much that was needed at that time, to know that another Fundamentalist apart from some of my immediate friends thought it was a worthwhile pursuit. We worked together a little bit with some investigators that would make contact with our two different groups. He would call me or I would call him with a question about history or different ideas. We would be on the phone for an or so and I really enjoyed those talks we had. Above all I saw in David a man that wanted to live by the Spirit. In this podcast I left in the first two minutes where it comes shining through where David called me at just the right time and that wasthe reason for this particular episode of the podcast. I also recommend you pay attention to Davids last comments here on this episode because I think it will tell you exactly where some of his heart and passion was.     SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT 08/12/2026: Let's Support A Family In Through Their Loss

    Yesterday the Mormon Fundamentalist community suffered a loss with the passing of my friend David Nielsen. David was one of the first to reach out to me when he first heard the podcast and encouraged me to keep going telling me that what I was doing was of value. From there we became friends, all my interactions with David are ones that i will cherish. From the first time I met him I knew he was a really good man. David loved missionary work, as I had the opportunity to work with him from time to time with investigators that crossed the paths of our two different groups it became apparent that all he wanted was to bless people, and that is a rare thing in this world.
