    Stand Firm | _ Like Jesus

    Joy can feel impossible when anxiety, conflict, and uncertainty pull your life in every direction. Yet in Philippians 4, Paul writes from prison that lasting joy is still possible. The path begins by standing firm in Christ, protecting unity, and bringing every anxious thought to God in prayer. Philippians 4:1–7 shows how believers can experience God's peace even in difficult circumstances. Paul calls the church to pursue unity, rejoice in the Lord, replace anxiety with prayer, and cultivate gratitude. As we follow Jesus' example of trusting the Father, God's peace guards our hearts and minds through every challenge.

    Becoming Like Jesus | _Like Jesus

    We naturally compare ourselves to others, but Jesus calls us to a different race. In Philippians 3, Paul reminds us that the goal is not to outperform the people around us. The goal is to become more like Jesus. The race isn’t against each other. It’s toward Christ. Philippians 3:12–21 encourages believers to press on with determination, follow godly examples, and live as citizens of heaven. Spiritual maturity is not about perfection but continual growth. As we keep our eyes on Jesus and the hope of His return, our future with Him begins shaping how we live today.

    Knowing Jesus Changes Everything | _ Like Jesus

    Everyone builds their identity on something. Success, reputation, morality, family, wealth, or influence all promise security, but none of them can truly satisfy. In Philippians 3, Paul reveals the only foundation that lasts: knowing Jesus. When Christ becomes everything, joy is no longer dependent on our performance. Philippians 3:1–11 contrasts self righteousness with the righteousness that comes through faith in Christ. Paul counts every earthly achievement as loss compared to knowing Jesus. True joy is found not in what we accomplish, but in a relationship with Him that brings hope, spiritual growth, and the power to endure suffering.

    Shine Your Light | _ Like Jesus

    God isn’t finished with you. In Philippians 2, Paul reminds us that God is actively shaping us into the people He created us to become. Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens as we intentionally obey, stand out from the world, and trust God with joy each day. Philippians 2:12–18 calls believers to work out their salvation through daily obedience, shine like lights in a dark world, and choose joy regardless of their circumstances. As we embrace God’s Word, resist a complaining spirit, and faithfully follow Jesus, God continues transforming us into the likeness of Christ.

    Jesus in the Nosebleed Section | _ Like Jesus

    What if the key to stronger relationships isn’t winning the argument but choosing humility? Real unity doesn’t begin with everyone agreeing. It begins when we willingly take the posture of a servant instead of fighting for our own advantage. In Philippians 2, Paul points to Jesus as our example and how humility transforms our relationships. Pride divides, but putting others first reflects the heart of Christ. Jesus gave up His position to serve and sacrifice for us, showing that unity is not automatic. It is built through humility, selflessness, and love that points people to Him.

    Worthy of the Gospel | _ Like Jesus

    Everybody lives a version of this sentence: “For me, to live is ________, and to die is ________.” In Philippians 1:21–30, Paul challenges us to let Jesus define both life and death. When Christ becomes our life, everything else finds its proper place, including our fears, priorities, and suffering. Paul reminds believers that their true citizenship is in the kingdom of Jesus. Rooted in Philippians 1:21–30, this message explores what it means to live as citizens of heaven, to view death as gain, and to trust that even suffering is not wasted. When Christ is your King and Lord, life takes on a new purpose and perspective.

    The Gospel Is Still Advancing | _ Like Jesus

    What if the very thing you would never choose is the thing God wants to use most? In Philippians 1, Paul finds himself in prison, surrounded by critics, and facing an uncertain future. Yet instead of seeing obstacles, he sees opportunities for the gospel to advance. Paul reminds us that God often works through circumstances we dislike, people who frustrate us, and futures we cannot control. Philippians 1:12–26 challenges us to trust that God is still at work, to care more about Christ’s reputation than our own, and to make it our aim that people see Jesus in every situation.

    There is Another King | _ like Jesus (wk 1)

    Who is really shaping the way you think? In a world filled with competing voices, loyalties, and definitions of success, Philippians reminds us that there is another King. Jesus is not just a part of our lives. He is Lord. And following Him changes the way we relate to God and one another.  Paul’s letter to the Philippians declares that the gospel is the royal announcement of King Jesus, not Caesar. Philippians 1:1–11 explores how making Jesus Lord produces gratitude, confidence in God’s faithfulness, deep love for others, and spiritual maturity. The goal is not simply to know more about Jesus, but to become more like Him.
