Remote Viewing in the Age of AI | Conspiracy Dad Podcast Ep. 35

What happens when one of the strangest chapters in the history of intelligence research collides with artificial intelligence? In Episode 35 of Conspiracy Dad, we dive into the bizarre history of remote viewing: the alleged ability to perceive information about distant or unseen targets without using the ordinary senses. Yes, the U.S. government actually investigated it. But that’s only where this conversation begins. We explore the decades of research surrounding remote viewing, the controversial experiments associated with programs such as STARGATE and GRILL FLAME, and the larger questions these experiments raise about consciousness, information, intuition, and the limits of human perception.   Then things get considerably weirder.   We discuss physicist and consciousness researcher Thomas Campbell, whose My Big TOE model proposes that consciousness may be more fundamental than the physical reality we experience. Campbell has also publicly discussed experiments involving AI and remote viewing.   Which led Dante to ask a fairly ridiculous question: Could an AI remote view?   So he tried it. Over a series of blind experiments, ChatGPT was given randomly assigned target numbers with no description of the corresponding images. Sometimes the results were complete misses. But a few of them were strange enough that we’re still trying to figure out what happened.   RESOURCES & FURTHER READING CIA FOIA: Remote Viewing / GRILL FLAME session documents The CIA Reading Room contains declassified records from the U.S. government's remote-viewing research, including actual session reports and drawings.   CIA Remote Viewing Session LIII CIA Remote Viewing Session XCI   1995 Evaluation of the Remote Viewing Program The American Institutes for Research was commissioned to evaluate the government's remote-viewing research and its usefulness for intelligence operations. When Did Constant Surveillance Become Normal?

In Episode 34 of Conspiracy Dad, we're talking about something that's becoming increasingly difficult to ignore:   There are cameras everywhere.   Flock license plate readers are popping up across the country. Our phones know where we are. Doorbell cameras watch the neighborhood. Cars are covered in sensors. Facial recognition keeps getting better. And somewhere along the way, we've gotten remarkably comfortable with the idea that almost everything we do in public can be recorded, stored, searched, and potentially connected to everything else.   So... when did this become normal?   We dig into the growing debate surrounding Flock cameras, the Fourth Amendment, and what "privacy" even means in a world that would have been technologically unimaginable when most of us were kids.   Nobody had to repeal the Fourth Amendment. Technology may have simply changed the world around it.   And that raises some uncomfortable questions.   How much surveillance are we willing to accept in exchange for safety and convenience?   Does it matter if nobody is actively watching the cameras when a searchable record of our movements can still exist?   And at what point does a network of individually reasonable technologies become a surveillance system none of us ever actually agreed to build?   Joining us for this conversation is our good friend "Kokomo," an experienced pilot whose real identity we're keeping under wraps because he'd prefer to continue receiving a paycheck.   And since you can't put a pilot in a room with the Conspiracy Dads without eventually looking toward the sky, we also get into UFOs, aviation, strange things pilots see, and plenty of the usual rabbit holes that somehow make perfect sense while we're recording.   Flock cameras. Privacy. The Fourth Amendment. UFOs. Government surveillance. Technology.   Just another perfectly normal conversation between dads.

From secret drug experiments to mind control attempts, MKUltra is a shadowy chapter in American history that has conspiracy theorists buzzing.
