    136. Building The Hivery Through Grief, Community and Starting Over with Grace Kraaijvanger

    In this deeply honest and moving conversation, I sit down with Grace, founder of The Hivery , to talk about entrepreneurship, grief, reinvention, community, and what it really looks like to build something meaningful through life’s hardest seasons. You’ve heard me mention The Hivery so many times on the podcast because becoming part of this community has genuinely changed my experience of entrepreneurship and womanhood. In this episode, Grace shares the incredible story behind building The Hivery: from her early career as a professional dancer, to navigating burnout and searching for deeper meaning, to creating one of the first women-centered coworking and community spaces in the Bay Area. But this conversation goes far beyond business. Grace vulnerably opens up about losing her mother, supporting her younger sister through terminal cancer while simultaneously expanding her business, and later losing everything she had built during the pandemic when The Hivery was forced to close its doors. We talk about what it means to hold grief while continuing to show up for your dreams, the courage it takes to start over, and why women so deeply need spaces where they can be fully seen, supported, and human.     135. SOLO: Anxiety, Accountability & Returning to Myself

    In this solo episode, I’m sharing a little life update of my day today! It's a mix of anxiety, intuition, self-trust, accountability and the growing tension between being and doing. After waking up anxious from a nightmare and struggling to regulate my nervous system, I found myself thinking deeply about the tools, habits, and technologies we rely on and whether they actually bring us closer to ourselves or further away. I open up about my relationship with data tracking, fitness watches, health metrics, and the pressure to constantly optimize ourselves, especially in the wellness and entrepreneurial spaces. Inspired by a friend’s decision to stop wearing her Apple Watch, I reflect on what happened when I unintentionally stopped using my Garmin and how it actually helped me reconnect to my body, intuition, and self-trust. I also share the new monthly accountability practice inside the Unlock Your Vitality Community, including the three focus areas I’m currently working on: writing my book, building deeper relationships in my business, and exploring Ayurvedic living. This episode is a reminder that sometimes healing isn’t about more information, it’s about learning to trust yourself again.
