    I have been dreeeeeeaming about holding a healing, transformative in-person retreat for our community for the last 6 or so months. Actually, if I’m being very transparent, Chris & I have talked about how cool it would be to hold retreats for the last 6 years. But last year, I had a very clear stirring in my heart that NOW is the time. However, my rational, logical mind kept putting it aside - “nah, too much work”, “what if no one comes?”, “life is so nice and cruisey right now, do we really want to be creating another thing?”, “it’s too costly, people say you never make any money with a retreat”...blah…blah…blah…For many months I let my mind rule. Yet along the way, my heart kept prompting me to create a retreat. And every time I listened, I broke through another layer of subconscious blocks, until I took full-blown action!! And I wanted to share how I did this on today’s episode - because essentially, how I moved through the blocks will be the transformative journey we will take you on in our upcoming The Body Knows Retreat in August.    In today’s episode, Chris & Filly talk about: Where the dream of The Body Knows Retreat started The A.L.I.G.N. framework that I used to overcome subconscious blocks around running a retreat - and the same framework that will guide the transformational journey at our retreat Emotional and physical “signals” that showed up, when I kept putting the retreat-creation to the side (including losing my voice!!!)     We have a fun, very real, very imperfect episode for you today. Chris is doing a solo podcast… while driving to get a haircut (yep, you heard that right). Filly told Chris, “We need to record a podcast,” and she handballed it to Chris to do a solo episode, as she was focusing on some other exciting projects. I’m gonna practice what we preach: drop perfectionism, press record, and get it done anyway. And honestly? That’s the lesson. Because perfectionism doesn’t just show up in your health journey - it shows up in your house, your work, your to-do list, your healing protocols, and the way you judge yourself for not keeping up.
