Diva Hall of Fame Tribute: Tina Turner Dance Mix (2021)

This 2021 Diva Hall of Fame mix foregrounds 80s dance, house, and club-ready remixes as a tribute following Tina Turner's passing. Party Favorz reposts the collection to celebrate how her catalog found new life on dance floors, from classic 12-inch treatments to contemporary reworks. Expect extended and club mixes that translate Turner's powerhouse vocals into peak-hour arrangements. Highlights include Metro and Hex Hector takes on "When The Heartache Is Over," David Morales' club-ready "GoldenEye," Todd Terry and Deep Dish reinterpretations, plus a modern DJ Amanda vs. Sonny Fodera remix that ties her legacy to current dance floors. The set leans into the era of remix culture while honoring the songs that made Tina a gay icon and a perennial club favorite. At roughly two and a half hours, the mix traces Tina's journey from Ike & Tina frontwoman to solo superstar, showing why her voice and songs kept resonating across genres and generations. Diva Hall of Fame: Madonna: The Ultimate Dance Collection Vol. 1 (2022)

Dance-focused Diva Hall of Fame mix from 2022 that revisits Madonna’s formative club years. Volume 1 collects extended versions and rare edits from the 1980s through 1990, assembled to recreate an 80s DJ flow while keeping continuous dancefloor energy. The set leans on the era’s club tools—Disconet, Ultimix, Hot Tracks—and favors mixes that match snare-driven electronic patterns for smooth transitions. Highlights include Shep Pettibone’s Open Your Heart, Ultimix Express Yourself, and several Digital Visions re-edits of Into the Groove and Like a Prayer, alongside Select Mix treatments of Material Girl and Vogue pt. 2. The compiler focused on sequencing and pacing rather than exhaustive remix trivia, so tracks have room to breathe while the mix maintains momentum across nearly two hours. For another angle on her early catalog, the notes point listeners to The Immaculate Bootleg Collection Vol. 1 and Madonna’s official compilations for further listening. 80s Dance Classics: The Essential 80's Dance Mix Vol. 6 (2019)

This episode is 80s dance music — The Essential 80's Dance Mix, Vol. 6 (2019) — assembled to gather notable tracks that missed earlier volumes and to cap this particular series run. The two-and-a-half-hour mix leans on club-era reworks, Ultimix and Hot Tracks edits, and a handful of modern culture-shock remixes to keep a steady, floor-ready flow while honoring the originals' hooks. Highlights include ABC's Look Of Love (Ultimix), Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams in a Culture Shock remix, Edge remixes of Human League staples Don't You Want Me and (Keep Feeling) Fascination, plus Bananarama's Venus and Madonna's Open Your Heart among other dancefloor favorites. Sequencing and selection were carefully considered — sometimes over weeks — to preserve momentum across nearly two and a half hours. Party Favorz notes a temporary pause on further 80s compilations but promises future revisits to New Order, Depeche Mode, and SAW-era material. For now, sit back and enjoy a nostalgia-forward, remix-focused take on classic 80s dance tracks. This episode is an 80s dance Hi-Energy set — The Essential 80's Dance Mix Vol. 5 from 2019 — assembled as a deep-dive into the NRG lineage that helped shape later hard-dance scenes. The two-and-a-half-hour compilation blends classic Hi-Energy cuts with crossover club favorites to show how frenetic synths and extended remixes powered dance floors across the decade. Highlights include The Communards’ Select Mix of “Never Can Say Goodbye,” Lisa’s Almighty 12" Definitive “Rocket To Your Heart,” and Evelyn Thomas’ Almighty 12" “High Energy,” alongside floor-ready takes like Dead or Alive’s Razormaid remix of “You Spin Me ’round” and Sylvester’s Ultimix of “Do Ya Wanna Funk.” The set even sneaks in a party-ready Ultimix of Rick James’ “Super Freak,” demonstrating how funk and pop were retooled for 80s clubs. 80s Dance Music Classics: David Bowie Let's Dance Remixed & Reimagined (2019)

Dance, 80s Dance Music Classics, 2019 — Party Favorz reimagines David Bowie for the club with a carefully sequenced tribute set that pulls highlights from across his career and translates them into an electronic context. This mix was assembled as a homage rather than a definitive anthology, focusing on remixes and re-edits that push Bowie’s melodies toward the dancefloor while respecting the original moods. Standouts include DJ Ernani’s take on “Let’s Dance,” Julian Marsh’s soulful reworks of “Space Oddity” and “Under Pressure,” and the 7th Heaven revamp of “Rebel Rebel.” The Pet Shop Boys extended mix of “Hallo Spaceboy” and 808 State’s 1991 remix of “Sound + Vision” also surface as moments where Bowie’s songwriting adapts naturally to modern club production. Made with affection and restraint, this 2019 set acknowledges that some of Bowie’s catalog resists literal translation while celebrating the tracks that do translate. It’s intended to introduce club listeners to Bowie’s songwriting and give longtime fans fresh production perspectives without erasing the songs that made him essential. 80s Dance: The Essential 80's Dance Mix Vol. 4 (2019)

80s dance — The Essential 80’s Dance Mix, Volume 4 (2019) collects two hours of club-friendly pop and alternative dance from the decade. This installment is framed as a listener-ready compendium of recognizable tracks and edited club mixes, designed to bridge commercial radio hits and edgier underground moments for both newcomers and longtime fans. The set moves from Paula Abdul’s kinetic “Straight Up” through multiple Madonna moments and Jody Watley’s R&B-tinged dance, while also nodding to the club underground with Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Relax,” Depeche Mode’s Tim Simenon & Mark Saunders rework of “Strangelove,” and a Razormaid-style “West End Girls.” Sequenced around Ultimix and Select Mix versions, Volume 4 favors singalong moments and remix-forward edits that keep the energy consistent across two-plus hours without losing the era’s stylistic variety. 80s Dance Classics: The Essential 80s Dance Mix Vol. 3 (2019)

This 2019 80s Dance compilation — The Essential 80s Dance Mix Volume 3 — is an Urban-flavored tribute to the decade’s funk, electro, R&B dance and early rap. Party Favorz spent two weeks selecting and editing tracks to create a two-hour mix that moves between chart pop, alternative dance touches, and the era’s club-forward grooves. The aim is a flowing DJ set that sketches how 80s dance floors shifted sonically while keeping momentum and familiarity. Highlights include club-ready takes on Janet Jackson’s “Nasty,” the machine‑gun energy of Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock’s “It Takes Two,” and Run‑DMC’s rock‑rap fusion “Walk This Way.” The set pairs Grandmaster Flash’s “White Lines” with Herbie Hancock’s “Rock It” in an inventive mashup and also features Salt‑N‑Pepa’s “Push It” plus crowd-pleasing classics that trace rap’s early party moments and electro‑funk textures. Select mixes and ultimix edits give the compilation a consistently dancefloor-focused flow.
