Welcome to the Horror Agenda. This week we have a special guest cohost joining us on the show. Caitlin Durante from the Bechdel Cast joins Carlos to discuss the Omen (1976) directed by Richard Donner and written by David Seltzer.

Caitlin, our guest cohost, recommends the Ninth Gate (1999), directed by Roman Polanski, about a book appraiser who has to find a book and figure out which is authentically written by the Devil. 

Carlos recommends the book Scream with Me: Horror and the Rise of American Feminism (1968-1980) by Eleanor Johnson. A great read about horror films and how they reflect where feminism and women's rights were in the period studied. He has recommended this on previous episodes but since we discussed it in the episode and read an excerpt it felt appropriate.
