Eve O'Brien

Do you dream of a natural birth but secretly wonder if you'll actually be able to do it when labor gets intense?Do you believe God designed your body for birth, yet struggle to find Catholic resources that actually prepare you for it?Are you tired of feeling lost and overwhelmed over conflicting birth advice, and don’t know who to trust for information? And lastly, are you done settling for birth prep that makes you choose between trusting your body….and trusting your God? If that sounds like you, I am so beyond happy you are here! This podcast will help you prepare for the God-centered natural birth you have been dreaming of through education, tips and positive birth stories. Hey, I'm Eve- a labor nurse, birth doula, unmedicated birth mom x2, and most importantly a passionate Jesus-loving Catholic! When I was pregnant for the first time, I was REALLY hoping for a peaceful, faith-filled, unmedicated birth. But despite already having experience as a nurse in the field, all I felt I knew was how to be a "good patient." And all the birth education I found was either fluffy and generic or spiritualized in all the wrong ways. So I pieced things together by myself, and by God’s grace I had an incredible birth. But that experience lit a fire under my butt and left me convinced that it shouldn’t be so dang hard to prepare for a birth that is both natural, and faith-filled. So I went on a mission to piece together YEARS of experience, education, and research so that you don’t have to. Let me make it super easy for you to prepare for the birth of your dreams WITH your Catholic faith at the center. On this podcast you’ll learn how to:  ✅ Understand the brain’s powerful role in labor and birth ✅ Overcome fear and cultivate confidence through truth and preparation ✅ Navigate interventions and the medical system wisely and protect the birth you desire ✅ Use labor positions, movement, and mindset to work with your body ✅ Recover and thrive postpartum through nourishment and rest  ✅ Embrace motherhood through an intentional, natural, and authentically Catholic perspective If you are ready to…Feel EQUIPPED to knock your birth out of the park, EMPOWERED in your ability to make confident, informed decisions, and EXCITED for the Spirit-led, fear-free birth you’ve been dreaming of…Then make yourself a coffee (or a red-raspberry leaf tea) and cozy up. Let’s jump in! *Disclaimer: this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not personal medical advice.
