I really enjoy for the most part anything Disney Imagineering. I was looking for a podcast that was pure fun and these folks at IGI knock it out of the park. They are not idiots, but “nerdiots” and sooooo great to listen to. Their joy, enthusiasm, creativity, sense of wonder, and passion are contagious…you’ll have a very fun time listening to all their tremendous ideas, fun banter, knowledge they share, and again…their sense of wonder about all that has to do with Disney Parks. It’s outstanding escapism for us folks who enjoy the parks and all that goes into them from the Imagineering perspective. I used to be a science and math teacher for middle school students and would use Imagineering with various parts of my curriculum. I so wish this podcast was on when I was teaching, I would have had my students listen to it for so many reasons. If you’re looking for some very good fun to listen to, give this podcast a go - these “nerdiots” and what they bring are fantastically wonderful. Ear hats off to all you great folks at IGI.

If you’re a Disney fan, this is the podcast for you. It’s like sitting around a table listening to your besties talk about ideas for Disney Parks, and the ideas are SO good, you wish they were reality. These idiots (and former CMS) dream up new Disney Park attractions with the true spirit of imagineering. Walt would be so proud. In true Disney fashion, this podcast is an amazing escape from reality, into a world of Disney imagination, with a healthy dose of humor, puns, and witty banter. TLDR: Listen to these idiots, they’re my favorite podcast.

This is always a fun listen and mental escape. The effort that goes into the ideas really shows. I hope the team at WDI are listening.

Boy, did I get that and SO much more when I discovered Idiots Guide to Imagineering. Each week, listeners get to participate in an active brainstorming sesh with the Idiots. You dive into brilliant ideas for new attractions and improvements for current ones. You learn about past Disney experiences and why they didn’t work out, and you follow along as the Idiots dream up elaborate plans for the parks and resorts. It’s like planning out your own dream world. But, wait, there’s more! They also interview imagineers from time to time! It’s just great and I think Walt would’ve been a regular listener of this podcast. I have so much good to say about this NECESSARY podcast. The Walt Disney Company, Disney Experiences team, PLEASE take these ideas and make them real!!! Idiots, first round on me at Enchanted Rose whenever everyone is in town!
