I have loved listening to this podcast, what an inspired idea! Even though we're not currently in Gayton and are living across the pond for this year I have really enjoyed maintaining connection with our Virginia home hearing so many familiar voices and getting to know our friends better and being so inspired by their life experiences and faith and messages. And Shelece and Suzie do a great job of hosting with the right balance of humor, empathy, earnestness, etc--whatever the moment calls for, they nail it.
I know with all these positive and inspiring messages we're only getting a glimpse of what might be the best version of whoever is on for that episode, which reminds me of other social media where you can scroll down and only see the smiling best versions of everyone, but interestingly, listening to the podcast has the opposite effect of when I'm scrolling on fb or whatever (hypothetically, that is, if I did that ;). In the scrolling, it's easy to get into the comparison mindset and the dissatisfaction of my own circumstances. But listening to the podcast, the only thing I feel is inspiration, gratitude, motivation to become a better person.
