    77. Paws and Poise: Manners for our Pets

    Send us Fan Mail Dogs are more involved in our social lives than ever before. They join us at cafés, visit friends' homes, accompany us on holidays and, quite rightly, are often considered members of the family. But has the way we teach our dogs good manners changed too? In this episode of Manners and Other Matters, Louise explores the shift from traditional obedience training towards everyday dog manners and considers eight very modern dilemmas. What should we do about the enthusiastic dog who jumps on every visitor? Is a little dog allowed to get away with behaviour we would never tolerate from a larger one? Should dogs accompany us to cafés and other people's homes? And what are the etiquette rules for people who want to approach somebody else's dog?
